So with Kroos retiring and Gundogan + Gross both 33 by the end of the tournament we are likely to see a very different midfield post Euro. Could see guys like Stiller or Reitz getting called up.

yeah 2026 WC could be interesting to see who else could emerge. Stiller I think will play 1 more season at Stuttgart and then likely will go bigger club. From M, Rohl could be another contender too, has interesting package, confirmed that Summer 2025 will go to bigger club than Freiburg. Martel will depend on him bailing from Koln for example.

but then comes in next 2 years what happens to Aseko at Bayern, Watjen at Dortmund, Ouedraogo looking like 2025-2026 season will be in 1BL and in top club. Bischof+Tohumcu have qualified for European footy next season with Hoffenheim if Bayer wins DFB Cup they will play EL.

so if we look at young Ms for European footy next season
-Stuttgart=Stiller+maybe di Benedetto/Ulrich......would really like both to be given chances for full breakthrough. Hopefully come Summer 2025 MAX both emerge at Stuttgart.

less we forget that Keitel transfering to the club in Summer. They also have the older Atakor.
-Bayern=Pavlovic+maybe Aseko. Although Aseko might go on loan next season. Bayern sees him to have high potential and even potential to breakthrough 1st team too, time will tell.
-Dortmund=F.Nmecha (still young but needs to stay fit next season)+maybe Watjen
    -Hoffenheim=Tohumcu+Bischof
-Heidenheim (if Bayer wins DFB Cup)=K.Sessa+Kerber, transfer in Summer

-All but Likely in Summer 2025 to top club=Ouedroago
-Question Mark is Raebiger at Frankfurt. Its time he moves on from RL, either 1st team or more likely a pro transfer to 2BL-1st Abroad whether loan or perm. He's the least likely candidate from list for WC26.

with F.Nmecha, Stiller, Keitel, Atakor, K.Sessa you have some older guys but still youngish who will play Euro next season.

but with Pavlovic, Tohumcu, Raebiger, di Benedetto, Ulrich, Aseko, Bischof, Ouedraogo, Watjen thats loads of promising young Ms and all playing for European clubs. So far from this list Pavlovic and Tohumcu are the ones who are fully emerged in their 1BL clubs. The others knocking hard on door, some will get full breakthrough next season others in Summer 2025-onwards. But as we've seen with Pavlovic the breakthrough in same season as Tourney is never too late to breakthrough SNT.

why focus on European footy? Because all NT coaches prioritizes this.

but anyway one looks at it, the M competition is looking on ROUTE to becoming STACKED in next few years. This post doesn't even broach the M talents from other 1BL clubs who could end up in bigger clubs down the line or top talent Ms emerging in 2BL.

so yeah I'm not worried about the post Gundo, Kroos, Goretzka etc. era.

forgot to add at Hoffenheim also Stach, Promel, Geiger, Becker for guys in that 95-00 age range.

Stach has some SNT caps, Promel ALMOST made WC22 squad but got injured. Geiger would have played SNT ages ago if not for always injured.

same can be said for Muller.....okay he's likely done far after Euro 2024 but we have players like Adeyemi, Knauff, Gruda, Diehl, Wanner etc for younger options and then guys like Brandt, Gnabry, Beste, Dinkci, Njinmah etc for slightly older.

eh time to move on from Muller at that and one feels like vs parking the bus the younger have better skillset for that type of shit.

Fully deserved. If he can win Europa, German cup, win Euros with National team, he would be the most deserved Balon Dor winner ever surely lol.

    Wirtz subbed out.

He's gonna have to do a hell of a lot better than this in the big stage.

Italians have put in a master class of how to defend off the ball. Been physical, and tactically very sound.

Wirtz looked leggy tonight. Hope it's not burn out, been a long season.

Tah let three goals in. Not a good look for him.

I sincerely hope Nagelsmann knows what he's doing.

Man Leverkusen really just played badly - or Atalanta just played really well.Either way it was a bad game for us.

Wonder why coaches always wait until half time to make changes - if you are 2-0 down after 20 minutes why not make a change.

I recon ist better to admit you made a fauilt even after 20 minutes then wait and see if they can get back in the game .

Bad news for Germany. Not fit/ burnout Wirtz is the last thing we want to hear right now.

They found out how to counter Alonso's tactic. I think the team spirit now hit rock bottom, you can see it from their body language. I hope FCK beat them in the pokal finale. Alonso need to be drag down to the reality that he's a 1 season wonder coach and will be sack at the beginning of the new season.

A little bit sad Wirtz did his worst game of the season ( probably due to bad form just coming back from injury).

Hoped he would have been top 5 in Ballon dor. Dont care about the price and I dont like it. However think he is definitely worth a good position and would probably be good for his confidence to.

so what happens if Gruda does better in training then players called up, LOL. I actually think he should have been called up.

Gruda regardless of what Albanian fans think was always unlikely to play for them. He has an Uncle who worked for Albanian FA and who tried to convince him for years but he always choose Germany instead. If his own family can't convince him its obvious that Albania is like last resort and not serious options.

that is difference between him and most Balkan dual kids. Most Balkan kids get swayed by their families to either not play for Germany or ditch us at 1st chance.

Germany should count themselves lucky that the great Mustafi only ever wanted to play for them. I remember reading an interview i which he said he only speaks in Albanian with his parents.

    yeah
1st Albanian dual in NT since Mustafi=Gruda
1st Serbian dual in NT since Marin=Pavlovic

those guys emerged in 2008-2014 period.

Serbian fans were all like here's hoping Pavlovic bombs like Marin........Marin was always injured, he didn't bomb because he's terrible or anything. Imagine wanting someone to flop for choosing the country they are born in, 100%, Pavlovic also has German mother. But no, he's a traitor who should be name called and hoping he has career ending injuries.

honestly the Balkan fanboys are some of the most gross and A-Hole fans out there. The stuff they say about players who don't choose them is vile stuff.

and Golden Gen of Germany didn't win anything without Mustafi, greatest player of ALL time. Once we stopped calling up Mustafi we started to crash and burn....coincidence??? NOPE.

I'm not so sure that Wirtz was that bad compared to the rest of the team. The entire team sucked and were outplayed. Mental exhaustion, hubris, bad coaching or simply being dominated by a team that was highly motivated and had a good game plan. We'll see how Leverkusen responds this Saturday.

Wirtz completely flopping on the highest stage of his career so far is a really, really bad sign.

LOL, he dragged this ass team to the final, what more do you want? So the whole team flops but only he gets blame???????? Its a team sport, should Wirtz have scored 4 goals and won the match 4-3???

and as mentioned he was recently back from injury issues.

I'm not concerned about the performance in one important game. As someone who doesn't know the details because I don't follow Leverkusen that much, I'm way more worried about potentially lasting injury issues that made him enter all recent games except the final from the bench.
