Wrong thread, I doubt Hasebe scored for Lazio. ;) -> https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/2023-25-daichi-kamada-lazio-ita.2126966/

As for Hasebe it looks like he'll play on and on for another season. Played the whole first official match of the season in DFB cup against 4th tier club Lok Leipzig yesterday.

    Oh sorry ^^. My fault.

And yeah, Hasebe has good chances to become a starter again.

I don’t really care about Hasebe becoming a JFA assistant. He has a ton of respect around Germany so I think he can become a Bundesliga manager someday…

By the way Hasebe starts in CDM last week against Stuttgart.

Sadly Hasebe confirmed today that he quits his career after this season. The club offered him another option for one more season but he decides to go into hix next step, the coaching

He will be Co-Coach of the U21 next season and after that he aims for a Bundesliga spot, he and the club said.

It's no surprise Hasebe is retiring. This season he barely plays anymore, only 595 minutes and only 6 starts so far. Last season he still played 1936 minutes and started 22 times. So it's consequential to move to the next step.

Yeah youre right but still sad. He is a real legend and could still play some years but I totaly agree.

Last season he was pure class like always. Remember his outstanding games in the Champions League :).

Nobody cares that Hasebe had his last game today against Leipzig. Very emotional.

This guy is a legend, for japanese standards and for European/Bundesliga standards.

    I am very sad...what a guy.

Now go to train as a coach and be ready for the after Moriyasu Era.
Miyamoto as JFA head and Hasebe as JNT coach. It would be epic.

It was ironical of course cause the hole stadium and Bundesliga cares about Hasebe. He stand up in the middle of the pitch after thr game and get the microfon and hits his last words to the fans as a player.

For me he is the most outstanding player in terms of quality, trophies and standing of all japanese players in history till now.
