I want Momoko Tanikawa and Manaka Matsukubo to be given a chance in Nadeshiko Japan for June friendlies. I love watching these two in action.

If you remember, I had the feeling something of the kind was happening, when I noticed the fact that Eriko Arakawa had entered the pitch in the last game. :)

Wow, 2 World Cups, 2 Olympics, 72 Nadeshiko Japan appearances. She must have been a fantastic player! :)

She scored the winner in Japan-Sweden 1-0 at 2004 Olympics (I couldn't find the highlights! :x3:)

She also scored at the Olympics 2008 in a 2-4 loss vs USA; one year later she became one of the first Japanese players to play in the USA at club level. :p

See her score while playing in the same team as another "eternal" player, Christine Sinclair:

It's quite puzzling come to think of it. I'm not Sugita fan but Nadeshiko left flank needs all the help they can get, especially after Endo's injury.

I really hope this will be streamed... I heard the rights holders changed this year. If anyone finds any info, it'd be welcome.

I guess Ikeda was not impressed with her in the She Believes (and I doubt he watches Thorns games).

I am happy if he plays her forward as opposed to the last match against the US where she played as a holding midfielder and was quite poor. Of course the US is a much better team than New Zealand.

To be fair to him she has not been that good when she has played for Nadeshiko. However, I think she should be in the squad because she can play on the left and in central midfield. I think she is a very useful option if Nagano is not playing well. At the moment who plays instead of Nagano in her position? Hayashi. I like Hayashi, but she is a similar player to Nagano.

I think that the Olympics will be Kumagai's last rodeo. If she is not going to play as a centre-half then I am not sure where she plays for Nadeshiko. Of course I could be wrong about Kumagai, but if she continues to play the way she has been playing for Nadeshiko then I think she will end up like Sugita.

He certainly has a thing for Takahashi, which I find perplexing. I get it, she is big and strong, but I am not convinced she is a good defender and is prone to injury.

Miharu Kobayashi played whole first leg of relegation play-off for Napoli at Ternana and played big part in scoring the winning goal.

I don't have particular complaint about this selection, but I want to strongly recommend one player maybe even in the future.
She is an attacking threat and in the defense nullified some wing players like Kitagawa or Nakashima.
Do you know who I'm suggesting?:p
