The point about the demand is a reason in favour of having an open fan portal, not against. If everyone is after a ticket, let fans buy and sell their tickets safely and at face-value over your official website. If you don't allow this - guess what - everyone will still be after a ticket and will just go to the touts.
There was one smaller sale based on people who said they got offers here in November. There was a very small sale in February if you were fans of Slovakia and maybe some other ones. I think the March sale was everything they had left and then the May sale was basically all returns as I can't imagine they would not sell tickets they know they have in March to wait until May. I agree with you that I don't understand why they aren't doing a fan to fan resale portal or haven't started one yet. Unless it is as simple that they just don't want to deal with it since tickets are already on third party sites. I still think it will pop up at the end of the month or after the CL Final when those Fan Passes come out. Especially because there has to be a way to easily give back knockout tickets when your team doesn't make it to the Final and for fans to get their tickets when a surprising team goes on a run. In reality, if UEFA puts up a live fan to fan resale portal on June 3rd, almost all of those tickets will still go before the tournament starts.
The only rational explanation I can think of for UEFA not having a 24/7 resale portal is as an anti-tout measure. Operationally they already have the buy/sell platforms in place, so it cannot be a cost issue. I do think there will be an opportunity to resell tickets to knockout games, though whether they will be available to everyone, or just a limited group (fans of etc), and how they are made available (specified time resale, 24/7, access codes, etc) remains to be seen. Also, there are almost always late sponsor returns and non-competing federation returns which are usually made available closer to match day.
Think you mean resale portal rather than fan to fan sales. UEFA and FIFA have never facilitated that type of direct transaction (other than what happens anyway with transfers, guests etc and is now more formalised with mobile tickets compared to good old paper). I don’t understand either the current stance, but then again I don’t believe much of what either of those two organisations say, if based only on track record and experience. Not an issue for me this time, and as soon as the App and tickets go live I’ll be finalising arrangements with my buyer…let’s hope no spanner in the works with MA tickets (not according to the T&Cs….although UEFA wrote them!)
Hi - I have bought tickets using the portal in previous sales phases. How do people know what section they are sitting in? Nothing has been shoved into my UEFA tickets app.
Hi, use the following instructions which one of the forum-members gave (helped me too, thx a lot!) https://euro2024-access.tickets.uefa.com/secured/content 2. Select "My Account, "My Tickets" 3. Somewhere in the green area, right-click and "View Page Source" 4. CTRL-F and search for "block"
I thought the service for 2016, 2020 (the only experience I've had) was far greater than this time. I refreshed constantly in 2016 and got every game I wanted, this system where it's one opportunity worked well for others, but it's beyond frustrating knowing I can't sell tickets (if I need) and my only option of getting tickets now is via ticombo etc
An update on the two restricted view seats I got for the Hamburg quarter final that were behind the goals, but one behind one goal and the other behind the opposite goal. These are now showing (via the page source trick) as being next to each other. This appears to show that seat allocations could still change. My other quarter final tickets are still in neighbouring blocks but at least those are in waving distance of each other.

Hello, If I have all the tickets and will keep them on my account (3 tickets), will I only need to have the fan pass for the 3 or each of them will need to have fan pass?
I went back and looked, I got my Euro 2012 tickets on May 7th mailed to me. Not sure why they are running so behind with this event. Someone mentioned here most likely we will not receive tickets until champions league is done, I feel the same. Website says end of May but every date communicated has been delayed this time around
Very sorry to ask repeat questions, but obviously we're 234 pages in here and it's hard to find stuff. Also, UEFA are rubbish at communicating anything. For the discounts on train fees, and the free train travel on match days - do I need to do anything? Do I need to apply somewhere or buy something before the tournament? Or is having a ticket on my UEFA account enough?
Match ticket holders are entitled to a 36 Hour Travel Pass for the entire regional public transport network at no additional cost. ⏳ Validity period From 06:00 on your matchday until 18:00 the following day. How to get your pass Your 36 Hour Travel Pass is included in your free Fan Pass ( available from 3 June!). Download your Fan Pass on the EURO 2024 App. Simply hop on board and have your Fan Pass ready to show to inspection staff if requested No need to scan the Fan Pass before boarding the metro, train or bus.
This thread is only for infos about the tickets. For infos regarding trains, hotels etc. there is another thread. There are also special threads for those who want to sell, buy, swap tickets. Thank you.
Thanks for the Hint witrh the seats As i Can say, may tickts changend. Yesterday I hat 3 tickets allocated to blocks in Dortmund, today these 3 Tickets where allocated to copletly differend blocks...
Some of my seat locations have changed as well, seems they are still working on the allocation plans..
Could be. But would expect before CL final sometime within next few days. Otherwise also no swaps between CL final and Euro matches as a few people might be looking for.
Clearly, they are still allocating tickets so that's probably why they said late May to distribute tickets for awhile now.
That thing where you search for the block gives no result for me now - despite doing so 4 hours ago. Strange. Ah well
