NSC with a a deflected goal called back due to push on the corner kick. Game is much more up and down, now
The amount of actually decent chances Atlanta has created without even getting a shot off is more than a little frustrating.
Along the way, Abram and Silva on for Hernandez and Gregersen. Now Cobb hobbling after rolling his ankle, so Efraim Morales comes in to pair with Abram.
Damn it Matt. Look what you put into the world. Right after I say that, Cobb has to come out injured.
The players are good enough. They should have won this game. But the strategy, the motivation, the confidence are all garbage.
Another game that Atlanta could have won but didn't. This probably won't increase the heat on Pineda internally at the club, but it won't have helped either. Very curious what lineup they put out against Charleston.
Have to say Atlanta earned the point. Hardly a sexy match and unlikely to turn the season around, but considering the conditions it's nothing to sneeze at, either. Maybe it's a statement about Nashville but Atlanta wasn't outworked in this match they way they were, say, last weekend or in the first half of Wednesday. Morales held his own after coming on, which is good.
