Just got done watching this...and let me tell you i thought it was pretty good. Amare Stoudimire got 2nd....his 2nd dunk was an alleyoop, off the backboard, then Nash did a header, and Amare dunks it. Then they started talking about how nash played Soccer in canada.....So his last dunk, Nash does a rainbow kick up to amare alleyoop dunk........pretty sweet stuff...soccer & basketball in the dunk contest

I loved it. Nash is the man. I wonder what would've happened if he pursued soccer after Santa Clara instead of basketball.

He seems like he probably was a well rounded athlete. Soccer was his primary sport til 13 supposedly wen he started basketball. I think he could be a two sport star, i mean he doesnt seem to play much but he still can do tricks and on time outs ive seen him juggle the basketball. He really made Amare get into the second round, without him J.R smith wouldve been there. The second round was boring. Josh Smith didnt have to do much. CHris Anderson blew and screwed J.R smith over. Barkley was hilarious.

Are you sure? I'm not doubting you, but it seems that's something I would've heard about. Pretty much every site talks about him playing as a schoolboy, but I can't find anything about him playing at Santa Clara.

Hmm...now that you mention it, I think it's just something I've always assumed, seeing as how Santa Clara is known for its soccer. I could very well be wrong. Plus playing soccer and basketball would be very taxing on the body...
