anybody else think that the season will come down to these six games? Why does it always seem like we close with a home and away against NE and DC? 20 Matches on Saturday 5 Matches on Wednesday & Sunday 1 match on Friday April 22nd & 1 match on the 4th of July
You complain that 2 of 16 home games are midweek? Would you rather attend these games on 4/9 & 10/23? The real problem is trying to squeeze 32 games into a 28-week season with an All-Star weekend break. I'd rather see a 26-game schedule, which may happen if MLS expands to 14 clubs & all clubs play home & away.
Let's take it slow, Big Jake. I think the point of the highlighted dates was not that they were in midweek. The point was that they are out of chronological order. I think you would agree that schedules normally run sequentially.
With this schedule I smell yet another promising start followed by an end of the season F up followed by more young talent for foreign stars...
Easy fellas. Just pointing out that posting your schedule with the dates out of order is bush league. Doesn't take much effort to get it right.
april 23rd (saturday night) is the first night of passover. they scheduled a game for friday, april 22nd. if this was done on purpose for the jewish fans who otherwise would not be able to go, kudos to the front office. looks like yossi rosen is having an influence.

We had the MOST games on Espn last year I believe. Especially when a certian young DC player was involved.
The fewer MetroStars games on ESPN the better, gives me more of a chance to see other games since Metro games will always be on MSG or FSNY (and not all other games make it to Direct Kick).
I don't think we had the most. If I remember correctly, the ESPN games were the home opener, the SJ game (3-1 loss I think), and the 6-2 game. FSW had one or two games. One of them was against Chicago I think...all I remember was that it was a really close game.
What's with all the "TBA"s? How is anyone suppse to amke palns in advance to attend? Without giving the fans a chance to make plans they are making attending a Metro game a matter of chance. Nine years and still no professionalism!
What TBA's? All game times are listed. So you know exactly when each game is, and can make plan accordingly. The only thing not listed is what channel each game is on, but that shouldn't affect your plans. I think all but one game was on TV last year, and I'd expect the same this year, so whether it's on MSG or FSNY shouldn't matter anyway. Know what you're talking about before accusing people of things.
I agree that the TBAs sucked, but if you had checked the Metros site prior to posting, you would have seen that the times were up by Friday.
Always remember this. The Mets are on MSG Tuesdays & Wednesdays. So there are 5 Wednesday games and all of those are on FSN NY. The rest on MSG
