I'm sorry but West Ham fans DID NOT 'attack' anybody! Give me something showing West Ham fans 'attacking' them? Anything? No you can't can you!! Yet dozens of 'hooded' Dutch tried to physically attack women and children and were beaten off heroically by two guys. Are these Dutch idiots going to be banned for life? Because if it had happened the other way around, and I am STILL yet to see anything that proves it did! You can guarantee that the perpetrators will NEVER again set foot in the stadium.
btw - Arsenal were at the top and eleven points clear, with a game in hand and then. . . then they signed Jorginho.
So if we, by some miracle, beat MU, it would leave the door open for Liverpool to pip United for the last CL spot.
I was marginally rooting for Inter (one of my favorite international teams), but after KDB went down, I’m happy for them. He’s a great player and going down again in a CL final was just gutting. Also, what is the opposite of a goal machine? Lukaku doesn’t just miss sitters, he actively blocks goals. Please stay in Milan.
Not sure if that goal would have counted to be honest as I think there may have been a wee-offside there which VAR may have picked up on, but it was still pretty funny. The header at the end was even more brutal, 2/3 of the goal open and heads straight at the goalkeeper from point blank range. Lukaku is an enigma. Some days he looks like Haaland, then sometimes he looks Ali Dia
Watching England U-21 beat the Israel U-21 When did Israel become part of Europe? lol I mean its great to watch the young stars - i guess we should all get used to this type of thing Madueke and Colwill playing
Due to political reasons, Israel has been a part of UEFA since 1994. Most Arab nations were boycotting them starting since the 60's.
I was never a Messi fan but my kid and I went to see him play last Friday on his debut. Scored the winner in the 93rd min from a freekick. We were also Miami fans before it was cool. Atmosphere was amazing and the team is another team with Messi and Busquets. Miami currently sits in last place in the MLS. Me thinks that's about to change.
12 games left in the season and a lot of points on the table. They’d need to win a healthy amount but they can mathematically still make the playoffs.
Not sure if that would be good or bad for the league. If Messi shows up, drags a team out of the basement, into the playoffs and to a title, it would be an amazing story…but also not say much for the MLS.
It would not be Messi alone. When he played on Friday, a huge conductor in the midfield was actually Busquets. Same with the match last nigh. Busquets made Messi look good in many ways. I am not sure Messi could do it all on his own. With Alba joining in the defense it would be safe to say Miami fixed the issues in attack with Messi, the midfield with Busquets and the defense with Jordi Alba. I know the story will be all about Messi but these two will play a major and intricate role, just as big as Messi's, if that occurs.
Can anyone explain to me how Miami is able to add such players and be within budget? I understand the allure of playing in Miami but rules are rules. I look at my long time NY Red bulls who have 2 unknown designated players vs Miami's Messi, busquets ans alba. It doesn't add up.
My understanding is that Messi is getting equity of the team itself, he's paid a hefty "commission" by Apple TV+ while he has a regular MLS salary. Apple TV owns the right to the matches and Adidas, MLS kit provider, seem to be the ones really paying him. Busquets is a designated player and I have no idea about Alba. I could be wrong on the details but I think it is something like this. Unusual indeed and probably super shady.
This was almost always the case with Messi and Busquets. To me Busquets is an all time great, he seemed okay letting Messi get all the credit, but he was a huge part of Messi's and Barca's success. Helluva a player that guy.
Arsenal about to sell Turner to Forest and buy Raya to compete with Ramsdale. Really interested to see what those two players go for but I suspect it’s going to make our Sanchez deal look even worse.
“Inter reached an agreement with Bayern to sign Sommer for a reported €6 million and he underwent a medical in Milan on Monday before putting pen to paper on his new contract with the Nerazzurri.” Yet we pay 20+5 for Schanez to be our backup GK. We will ever learn.
Wolves utterly luckless, then absolutely ridiculously cheated by VAR always favoring utd more var shite calls than gotten right this first week
