Use something that isn't a web browser since nobody seemingly knows how to make a stable webapp these days heh
Such a shame. Between all the technical issues, the 87 clicks it takes to get to a match, and the bad 360 cast, I've just become so tired of this deal. Among other issues. I've watched about 10 minutes of MLS in the last month, by far an all-time low, and at this rate I might watch less next month
You're in the minority. Extreme minority. The vast majority are in love with this deal. Even I've come around and I was the biggest critic.
I think I've had a total of one technical issue watching every week on multiple Roku TV, android phone (chrome browser), iPad, AppleTV box, and PS5, and Windows PC (in Chrome). This is across multiple Apple IDs and family sharing accounts... I totally get the frustration, but have to say the availability has been very high for me. Not saying weird edge cases don't exists (it's certainly more frustrating to be the one person experiencing the technical glitches), but its not been my experience.
Just imagine being a casual fan, tuning in during the one window of the week, and not being able to watch a damn thing. Frustrating.
I’ve been able to watch on TV, iPad and laptop (in THREE countries) this year. Sorry you’re having issues but the worst I’ve had is missing local radio sync. Once. And maybe some spoiled results for non DCU games from the Apple interface. Thx, Jay!
I hope everyone complaining about the lack of variety in game windows caught both 1pmET and 10pmET matches today
I'm not concerned about the lack of variety in game windows. I am concerned about the 1 pm EDT match today because it sucked! Well, from a St. Louis perspective, anyway!
CBS Sports scores record audiences across platforms for 2022-2023 UEFA Champions League coverage. pic.twitter.com/nX554hfqo6— CBS Sports PR (@CBSSportsGang) June 13, 2023 2.1 million on cbs doesn't seem like it justifies the 90 minute pre game show this game got, but I guess it's the only way to get commercial spots for soccer.
CBS reports an average of 2.2 million viewers for UEFA Champions League final, peaked at 2.6 million. Univision averaged 1.2 million viewers.— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) June 13, 2023
Sports media journalist Andrew Marchand proposes a crazy idea to the MLS: Monday Night Messi. Newsletter+: MLS should create Monday Night Messi https://t.co/tsRBkdnrQC pic.twitter.com/C3iUAcdptR— Andrew Marchand (@AndrewMarchand) June 12, 2023
It also streamed on P+ and Golazo (?) so the numbers for CBS Network are not the totality of viewers.
The fact that it was only mentioned that the P+ numbers set a record, but did not list the numbers means its likely negligible compared to the CBS number.
MLS Cup has always had decent ratings, occasionally 10x higher than an average MLS match. It makes total sense for it to be the most viewed event on the calendar, but by THAT much? A little bit strange.
