Stones had a decent little spell there Dribbling. The ball came back to him and he gets exposed lmao. Relax.
Just the 115 rule breaches … No lawyers (to drag investigation on for years / get them back into this very competition they were thrown out of) or continued cheating needed for ours
yes. it was only a deflected cross falling kindly why they conceded. they were solid throughout but lacked cutting edge offensively in general. didn't commit enough bodies forward in general but Lukaku missed when it was easier to score and somehow blocked a point blank Dimarco header from a rebound. imo they had the better chances. lots of folks said it was gonna be a beat down, they fluked the final anyway etc. but if you actually watched Inter it wasn't a surprise. they have had a solid system in the CL and beat all their opponents fairly comfortably. they had a bad period immediately post WC where they made tons of mistakes but sorted that out a while ago. they put up a far far better fight than that crap we produced in the FA Cup final
The problem with U20 tournaments is often the teams that have played together (ala say Israel or S.Korea) always look better than the teams that have been thrown together. Can disproportionately make players look better than they are just because they're in the right system amongst players they're familiar with.
I don't understand why this tournament wasn't played at a different time. They started the tourney a couple of weeks ago while European leagues were still finishing and many clubs didn't release their players. What you get is a mishmash of players, a lot of teams are bringing their U-20s b-teams.

If they actually use him, a big big pick up. Probably the best foreign player (in MLS) to be poached for the USMNT is my life time.

Its amazing watching all these teams who finished below us get linked with quality players. Even if its just linkS, thats fine. Were only linked with Mason Mount.
It's frustrating as hell - how bad is our talent identification that we're never in for any of these kinds of players??
I think it's strange that we're linked with anyone right now. I'm not really sure what to expect this summer.
even more so when they're linked with actual reasonable bids. unlike us where it is always some lowball number that will go up in increments of £5m over the next 3 months
the Netherlands are so average now. it's sad. been years of this. Weghorst is out there now. in years past it's been Memphis, Ryan Babel, Bergwijn etc. and other mediocre forwards they keep recycling. constant recycling of the managers too at this point. there was a period of shifting from traditionally producing strong attackers to strong defenders but even the defence doesn't look great now. the midfield is whatever really. the rich talent line has dried up a fair bit too. Xavi is up and coming but so what. clearly no game winners out there today
