If Conceicao leaves, the ratings will go down.

    The league needs his antics.

Confusao will be back my this time next year.

He'll get booted out of which ever club he goes to for being toxic and arguing with club officials.

The rest of the world dont put up with that crap. But in Portugal it's the norm.

The East is embarrassing. Let a bum team like Florida run all the way to the Stanley Cup Final. Boston Frauds and Toronto Maple Laughs.

    Viva Las Vegas

The Martinez Goal reminded me of his winning goal he scored for the LA Kings when they won the cup in overtime against the rangers.

Martinez will win his 3rd Stanley cup this year.

    The west is the best

I think if it was rigged, it would be rigged for Florida not Las Vegas.

    Not rigged.

Las Vegas is the better team and its not even close.

At the same time, i do admit that they were trying REALLY hard to not give Edmonton any powerplays against Vegas. They weren't even trying to hide it.

Did you watch the Leafs vs Florida ? Punches and elbows to the face , no calls , cross checks to back of head, no calls . Fvck their winning goal happened while one player grabbed the defenders stick . No call, no review etc . complete joke . Last time Canadian team won the cup was in 1993 . The fallowing year Betman came in . Not a coincidence

Notice how in any forum discussing messis move to inter miami, not one negative comment on this decision. Quite the contrast to discussions around Ronaldos move to Al Nassr.

Ronaldo was bodying the EPL at 37, this man is scurrying to the mls at 35.

Bodying the EPL at 37? Dude was an absolute disaster-class when he came back to Man U. Both players are cooked, the only difference is that when Argentina needed Messi at the WC in December, he showed up. There's nothing else to talk about.

Yea 24 goals ain't bad but his form deteriorated. Looked awful towards the end and attitude was shit. Same with the WC showing. But that's what happens when you have a filthy Lampiao coach and a bunch of Lampiao trash in the FPF running things. FPF is Lampiao dick riding circle-jerk so it gives me joy watching these loser Seixal scrubs get trounced by fucking poverty Morocco.

Joao Mario won a title with SCP, never got a call up. Plays 1 game for SLB and immediately gets a call-up. That's all you need to know.

You yourself were critical of his play at Sporting . He was much more successful at Benfica than at sporting for what ever reason .

Absolutely. Amorim had him in a sort of holding midfield role where he brought absolutely nothing going forward. He was replaced by Matheus Nunes who was vastly superior. But still, he was still a champion at Sporting, and he was called up almost immediately after he signed for Benfica well before he got like 15 penalties which heavily inflated his stats.

You spit facts about him and then you turn around and start making excuses for him. :ROFLMAO:

Not the teams fault Ronaldo sucked. It's his fault. The media circus around the team was also his fault because of the stupid interview. An absolute horrible distraction. Yet, we are still calling this loser up.....

Messi won the goat battle and he is clearly better at making career decisions. Nobody in the USA will even remember who Ronaldo is once Messi breaks every single record in the MLS.

Like our goat Messi said, if this was about money he would go to Saudi Arabia.

Legacy is what matters, and its time the USA hear the story of Messi.

Say what you will about the penalties but the fact of the matter is that Argentina played ball. They were the better team in every game they played.

    They played great football.

    Legit World Cup Champions.

Intention was not to make excuses for him, but to respond to the mouth-breathing troglodyte's response about no U21 call-ups for SCP. Well duh, Sporting is Portugal's #1 enemy when you factor in how corrupt the FPF is and how the entire country is all Lampiao glory hunters. How did all those Lampiao call-ups work for them this past WC? I mean, who the f*CK is Morocco?

Also, agree on the point about Messi. To me, Ronaldo was a superior player until he started whining to leave Juventus and did a lame Piers Morgan interview crying like a bitch to the media, and then made a bunch of piss poor career choices. Don't get me wrong, Messi would fail in the premier league without a doubt. He knows it, that's why he plays in the farmers league and is moving to another farmers league.

Also, while I don't think Argentina deserved to win the whole WC tournament because they were helped the entire way with bogus PKs all tournament long, they still showed up and delivered when they needed to. The final vs France is a great example. Dudes collapsed in the final 5 minutes but still had enough balls to keep attacking the ball. Portugal can't do that. When they go down or concede multiple goals, they fold like a lawn chair.

what? Who you think is watching our league, Indians and Nigerians? We are the only ones who watch it, the supporters of the teams. Him leaving will do nothing for ratings

Nobody in the USA cares about Messi or the sport. He went to the mls for money just like Ronaldo went to saudi for money. They are not different whatsoever.

Ronaldo is still the goat, 5 cl vs 3 cl and the highest scorer in it. CL is the highest level of football, where the best face the best. There are no eibars, and angry foots farmer teams there. International football should not factored in as much in a goat debate unless you are comparing two players from elite footballing nations. The fact is, unless you are French, Brazilian, Argentinian or German, you have an extremely low chance of winning the world cup

MLS ratings are soaring year by year. It's the fasting growing sport in the USA, you just aren't paying attention. Now the MLS has the goat in the league. Soccer is only going to be going upwards in the USA.

Top scorer in the Champions League? Who gives a flying crap about how many tap ins he had on his stacked Real Madrid teams? Messi is the creative powerhouse with the assists combined with the goals. He just does more and that is what matters. Also, Champions League trophies are about the collective. The entire team, and not an individual player. For individual players, it's the Balon D'or that counts. We all know who owned who in that category and its the only category that matters to settle who is the best. All of Messi's Balon d'Or wins were undisputed, it's arguable that one of Ronaldo's could have went to Messi.

The way Messi won the World Cup near the end of his career was just beautiful. The story could not have been written any better. 90% of the global soccer world labels him as the goat for a reason.

Anybody that still labels Ronaldo as the goat belongs in the circus.

Also, Messi would have been able to get way more money if he went to Saudi. That is a no brainer.

Inter Miami would have never been able to match them. He chose MLS because it’s the fastest growing sport in the USA and because of legacy. Who the heck wants to fade into obscurity in Saudi?

And why reward a country with human rights abuses with your legendary presence in their own league?

    Joining a Saudi team = Huge L

I can’t even tell you the last time it was I saw a headline about Ronaldo. How is he doing in that league? Don’t know, don’t care. Neither does anyone else.

So yeah, let’s stop shilling for Ronaldo. It’s 2023, not 2014. Get out of the Bronze Age, the battle has been won. Messi is our goat.

Ronaldo is one of the greatest ever, just not the greatest.

I will say this, though…. If Ronaldo went to Benfica’s academy, he would have likely had way more creative elements to his game. I always believed that and I still do.

well, Ronaldo also has more assists than Messi in the champions league in addition to goals. Messi played on stacked teams his entire career, but has only led them to 3 titles. It has been a decade since he last won, in that time span h has been emasculated by Liverpool, Roma, and Bayern. I 8-2 break it to you, but your boy is overrated as shit. He did fuk all in his international career before fifa decided to invent annual cops americas until he won, and invent fake penalties in this past World Cup.. if you cannot see that World Cup was fixed after the poland penalty and the Di Maria one in the final, then you live with your head in the ground. Those would never in a million years be called for Portugal .
