ok - change of plans. Stockholm is out, we are now going to Lisbon (booked this morning). Less of a chance to see some football unless one of the Lisbon clubs has a friendly arranged, but that's fine. Logistically it's way easier than getting to Scandinavia. Lisbon looks dope, so should be good. Anyone ever been?
I haven't, its on my list for next year, but my friends rave about it and have already told me to get on the Portugese tarts, go to Belem and the monastaries if you are into those things, heaps of art museums and live performances and amazing seafood. I am aiming to go around May next year.
I'm only replying to this to see if you are watch the test championship at the Oval right now. I love that to get ready for the Ashes England played Ireland, whereas Australia are playing India! Also, same, never been to Lisbon but friends raved about the Portuguese tarts
Today's the final, 3:00pm ET on CBS in the states. I don't think Inter have anything close to what it takes to win today, but I'm actually pulling for City to win the Treble. If they fail, it will be completely embarrassing for them, and they'll have it all to play for again next year. They may as well peak now, so they can have a fat and happy transitional season in 23-24, maybe settle for 3rd.
Can't see guys like Acerbi and Damian holding up to the pressure. Would love Dzeko to score a cheeky one against his former club, but I fear Citeh is gonna run riot.
it wouldn't be the first time teams have entertained the idea of smashing the Aussies all round the park, The trouble is their attack is normally a bit too good for that.
No, but I want to after seeing the city featured on season 1 of Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix. I'd recommend watching that episode before you go, some great food spots featured but also does a great job of showcasing the city in general.
As long as we’re discussing other sports, Stan’s, or more correctly Ann Walton Kroenke’s, Nuggets are now one win away from the NBA Championship.
I keep forgetting to cancel my Willow TV subscription. Afternoon session is usually starting when I log on for work so I have it up on my personal lap top.
First the Rams, then the Nuggets, why not Arsenal next? Did he own the Avalanche back when they won the Stanley Cup?
Since they won the NHL Stanley Cup last season, yes and no. Like the Nuggets Ann Walton Kroenke is listed as the official owner of the Avalanche. They are all part of KSE though.
Bonesaw FC finally get the trophy they threw so much money at. Now lets hope those FFP penalties come in and strip them of some titles.
Congrats to Southampton as the one club that was able to stop City from winning a trophy this season.
Fcuking Brentford took 6 points off City. I'm sure they feel better about that than Arsenal do about taking 6 off Leicester the year Leicester shocked the world.
