Loco is correct. That message from Barcelona sounds like a scorned ex telling you “Good luck to whoever has to deal with you next!”

What a stupid way to destroy your brand. Back to empty seats at the Camp Nou.

1000% Messi is getting several more players to come with him to Miami. There's no way Messi can lift this team on his own.

I'm assuming the player will go for cheap, because there are desgination restrictions in the MLS. I'm not sure how it works exactly.

I'm pretty positive that Albiceleste friends and Barca friends list is going to be true in some manner.

Then the reality of Messi winning the Libertadores becomes a heavy reality.

According to reports, Messi has been talking to beckham since 2018 to make a move like this. There's probably talks and plans happening for a long time now. Messi has probably talked to other players.

Normally on principle I would not like this but lol whatever gets Messi in it. Would be cool to see him play club football in Argentina in some manner

I could see it now… Conmebol would say something in the lines of “We had a big drawing, behind closed doors, all the members were there. We wrote all the North American teams names on a piece on paper and put it in hat and Inter Miami was chosen! Congratulations to Inter Miami!”

This has to be the steal of the transfer market. Mac is being sold for 35 Million Pounds. That was his buyout clause.

An English player or Brazillian that about half as good would be around $80 m.

Perhaps but this is on Brighton for not increasing his buyout clause. I am not sure if they were permitted to do so in the middle of the season.

Yea, I mean Richarlison was like $73 million and he has yet to even reach 90 goals at club level, and he's older than Lautaro. He has scoring ratio of an attacking midfielder during his time at Everton but suddenly somebody's willing to splashed out $73 miillion. After that transfer, he scored a whopping 3 goals for Spurs.

The bridge was burned in 2021. There is no coming back. I don't think Messi will ever return to Barca as a player. Maybe in different role like ambassador.

Alexis will wear number 10 at Liverpool. Klopp must be really rated him highly.

Took him less games than Neymar to reach that. And when Neymar played, the farmers league was barely competitive and he had a much superior team not this dysfunctional crap with 'french' emperor Mbappe in control.

Nevermind the rest of the stats like Messi's successful dribbling being near the top. or that he had to go back to the midfield to retrieve the ball or that he was never passed when he was in position ect.

Absolute shame he is still at exquisite high level.

I know I bang on about this but I'm going to say it again, Laporta is someone who is not to be trusted. He was having cosy dinners with LPB President whilst they were hatching up the insane ESL, he used Messi to get elected then ditched, and ditched him at the very last second after claiming he was going to sign his new contract. He would have done the same now, he would have got Messi to wait and wait then at some point in August would have claimed that a deal can't be offered to him. I don't know when the next Presidential elections for Barca are, but I guarantee Laports will claim he will bring Messi back for one season when he is running. The way Messi was bombed our of Barca was just awful, I mean they held a press conference in some crappy room, they didn't even have a presentation on the pitch, just a horrendous way to treat their greatest ever player.

I’m not gonna lie, I forgot the CL Final was tomorrow. I was getting more excited for our upcoming friendlies and the news of Messi to Miami kinda pushed the final to the back pages.

I will hope Inter and Lautaro do the unthinkable. If Lautaro scores and they manage to win it, this will be a great redemption story for Lautaro.

As for our friendlies, players are gradually coming in. I’m glad Scaloni has said Garnacho will get minutes. Over the next few friendlies, it is time to bring in fresh blood. We have to prep for the CA, which is a year away. I like to see is Redondo called a shout, he is already there in terms of physicality and game play. Perhaps not a started but integrate him.

I would also like to see what Scaloni did a year or two ago, which is call-up a bunch of youngster to be around the senior players. We are really thin at the LB position, therefore, Barco should be called, and he does even have to make the final 26 or 29 list but as long as he is around the senior team, he will hopefully pick up good habits, which include maturity on the pitch. This could help with his progression. The next year or so will be very important for him.

But man; what a year it’s been. It’s felt like a damn lifetime we’ve had a break. The Finalissima, final prep-work the World Cup, the World Cup itself, the after party of the World Cup celebration, then going back to club football. We are all tired, and deserve a mini- break.

So, Mahrez maybe on his way to KSA. This move could help Julian get more minutes. I believe he was already a #2 option but this will solidify it. But I hope just finds a way to get Julian in the starting line-up for the 2023-2024 season. He’s far too talented to be riding the bench.!

So, Mou is in fact interested in bringing in Icardi. Things would have to be worked out with PSG, maybe a buyout but this would be a great move.

One step close back close to the seleccion!:D
