That’s the way it actually went , sans the alleged widespread, massive fraud that exists within the head of a widespread, massive fraud….
When Aubrey Huff was on I heard him tell the raunchiest story about one of his hookups. I couldn’t believe my ears. It was so out of place on radio - it would almost be a bit much for the locker room. But they continued having him on as a regular guest or whatever he was.

The most line-breaking passes completed in @MLS this season 🎯| @LAGalaxy #LAGalaxy | pic.twitter.com/bjfUG0YNbR— PFF FC (@PFF_FC) June 8, 2023
So, LAG has the first and second players with highest number of the line breaking pass and is still bottom of the table? Does line breaking pass really do anything?
You understand that soccer is a team sport right? You understand that an individual stat can provide valuable information without somehow magically assuring that the team wins their games, right?
Yeah, that's funny about the Angels. How can they have a couple of massive generational superstars like Ohtani and Trout, like the equivalent of Messi and Mbappé, and still be mediocre year after year? You'd almost have to try to do it. I mean even if you could get to average supporting cast, shouldn't they be able to elevate themselves above 3rd or 4th in the division? They are a long-running example of the limits of the Great Man method. Since 2015, nothing but 3rd and 4th place finishes except 2017 when they were 2nd. And even when they were 2nd, they were 80-82 and finished 21 games back.
This one's easy. Their pitching is and has been garbage for more than a decade. Edit: Pitching minus Ohtani, of course. He's a good pitcher. But their other pitchers, and especially their bullpen, have been historically comical.
How can they not get that right though, year after year after year? They’re willing to spend money, they can’t buy a couple of decent pitchers?
Jackson called up to the Gold Cup roster to take Sonora's place for the quarterfinals and beyond if they advance.
Good for Jackson - he belongs there, but that means he’ll miss probably 2 or 3 games. Intl duty + yellow card suspension. Ouch(!) for the Quakes.
So, a like for a like. An ineffective player who shows flashes. I doubt that he will see much playing time. Not sure why he was called up.
Good for Jackson. Surprised but I suppose they needed a like-for-like replacement for Soñora. Nice to know he'll only be missing the Sounders game on 7/12 since he's suspended for the weekend anyway.
If the US advances he’ll miss the LAFC game (in camp presumably), the Seattle game, and probably the Vancouver game in August. My understanding is that you can’t “serve” your yellow card suspension while on nats duty.
