Money well spent, even if he costs 300m.

Yeah, that's kind of a stumbling block for me, guy just had his fourth child. He doesn't quite look like a guy willing to play in Spain or anywhere else than Britain but as you said, I might be surprised.

I get the reports that he likes to play here to play there but I don't see too many reasons to be optimistic right now and that's not on the club. I don't trust Kane to want the move. When it was about joining City he made a point of making sure he looked like he wanted the move.

Kane had to push for City move publicly and even then it didn't happen. Bale and Modric kept quiet throughout the saga until pre season. Bale even played a pre season game before really forcing things.

Don't think either of them made any public statements then. They privately demanded a transfer and Levy made them train alone in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Basically, it's too early for Kane to do anything of that sort in first week of June. He has a year left in the contract and Spurs best option is selling to RM than Utd.

Kane's club after transfer window odds. Pretty close between RM and Spurs. Utd far behind.

Or the best idea might be to just have him around in the last contract year. The kind of money they'll get for him doesn't cover a replacement, might as well take a chance on a talent alongside him and see how things shake out during the next season. Bayern definitely didn't come out as winners from letting Lewandowski leave.

He needs to show us something because it's been very quiet from his side of things.

He won't renew so they will lose him to Utd for free in 2024. Bayern could afford to lose 100 ME. Spurs can't if Kane wants to leave this summer. They will have to look for a replacement next summer with 100 ME less in the coffers.

We lost two wingers this summer..Hazard and Asensio(who isnt primary a winger)...we have only Vinicius,Rodrygo as wingers and Valverde who was used sometimes on the right..Brahim isnt a winger..He Is a midfielder...maybe Chukwueze would be a smart buy for right wing if the price is right because he is out of contract next summer

In turn, he can't afford to look off or get injured during a year where the national team will need him.

Just the base fee for the CL group stage is over 15mil. without gate money and added revenue.

I'm starting to believe that at this point having a good season is better than taking whatever transfer fee and plunging into the abyss.

I'm not quite seeing the signs yet, but we'll see.

Hazard wasnt a winger and the only thing we lost when he left was like 110kg of the overall weight of the squad.

Isak would have been the best move last year. Its unfortunate the club didn't try to get him.

This is a crazy suggestion, Bilbao doesn't sell their players and tougher to get any player from their to convince to jump ship to Madrid.
What's Inaki Williams release clause/contract situation? I think he is a quality option.

Exactly, I thought of that. But it would be interesting to see how the four clubs interact with each other.

I think as long as his brother is playing for Athletic and his family are in the region, he won't trigger a buyout clause or join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

They had Llorente ready to quit football rather than join Real Madrid. Really sad, but that's what happens when politics meet sport.

Tchou's signing is scandalized, in the sense that it look as midfield upgrade until Case is sold, and after the case is sold it is actually as midfield de-grade

I'd rather have Lautaro, he has a better first touch.

We are joking here but Lautaro scores the winning goal in the CL and he's in contention for BDO. Won the WC, Coppa in Italy, scored 20+ goals in the league and clutch goals in the CL. Better candidate than that FC Miami part time player for me.

Gotta admire the club's unwavering committment to not acknowledging Osimhen's existence though:laugh:

If you believe in a player there are no issues about the future really. Carlo seemed to be excited about the idea publically.

Just loads of nonsense from all directions as always.

I know this is a thread for transfer rumors, but seriously, these Kane and Havertz tweets are cringe.
