********, can't believe I am forced to watch the MLS. Does that mean he's coming to Toronto and Montreal?
You think it was frustrating when Mbappe was missing sitters by Messi, just wait until a former AYSO league MVP gets a perfectly placed ball.
I wouldn’t be surprised if one reason why Messi turned down Saudi Arabia has to do with their bid for 2030. They would’ve used him as a prop for their hope to host 2030. As many of you are aware, we are also trying to co-host the tournament as it would be the centennial of the first World Cup.
That would make them the slowest team in the world they have to buy energetic players to help Messi not his old friends. Well, that if their priority is winning..
Nah, it's 100% because family doesn't want to live there. He already has a deal to sponsor their tourism, he's not unwilling to take their money.
I said one of the reasons. Yeah, living in the KSA would be awful. I mentioned this before where living in Miami would be far more appealing than in the KSA. There were reports that Cristiano’s baby mama was ready to leave. People with Western values living in that part of the world always find difficult . Maybe the UAE is a bit more lenient but nevertheless I’m glad he picked Miami over that country.
I’m a little saddened like many of you guys, but when Argentina wins the ‘24 Copa final after playing a chunk of the games in Miami it’ll all be worth it. Also ticket prices - yikes. Glad I went to see the Albiceleste vs Honduras for dirt cheap before the WC.

That report says 1.5 for 3. But I think it does not matter at this point. I was just listening to a podcast where they said the Saudis are shocked by this move. People do not turn down the Saudis money… But Leo apparently has and he will be with Miami.
One thing in football is certain 100%. If you are the biggest name there is always some BS drama surrounding you. You can never go quiet. It's not your fault, it's the people around you.
Lionel Messi's contract with Inter Miami will be a year by year contract. Guaranteed until June 2024, with up to three years. He has the option to leave every year. What drama you referring to? Barca playing games making promises they can't keep because they are broke and la liga has non-sensical rules and clear real madrid favoritism when it comes to their applications
Maradonna and the circus in his last few years before he retired, C.Ronaldo circus, and this circus of PSG / and Barca transfer for Messi. Then you have the Messi fanatics (and barca fanatics) who are do or die want him to play for Barca. Who won't get off his case even with the decision he makes. From a business perspective with the stock and comfortability of living in Miami this makes sense for Messi. Western value based families don't accimilate well in a predominately strict country like Saudi Arabia. Those people who succeed with Western values are usually in UAE or Dubai and are single or already rich (looking to do business).

It is sad but I hope they treat him better than PSG and Crapcelona did He will always have a place of glory and gratitude here in Argentina in where EVERYONE worships him. Hope its the best for him and his family cause he gave us so much JOY for so many years that he deserves only endless love from us fans.
