But the Firemans is bad. But Kei always scores against us. But we’ve been scoring loads of goals. But our D has been leaky. We are doo(ooo)med. Piss on the F!re. Etc. Discuss. Bonus track. Secret track. .
Big points available over next 6-7 games as we face the league bottom dwellers. Real chance to get to top of standings. Can not drop games we should win. Can not tie them all. I'm optimistic but also have good memory (Porterball nightmares) and therefore cautiously so. Gotta win this game to kick start a nice run.
We need some road wins this would be a great place to start but our back line vrs Kei has me checking injury reports because I don’t see how our defense can not leak multiple goals so we will need 3-4 goals to get a win.
When will you be at a Crew game this summer? I owe you a Kyle Brew for all of these gems of match threads.
I mean we all hate Chicago but they haven’t lost at home. They have 2 wins and 6 draws so we should come away with a point. A win would be nice to make up for the Miami home game we had no business losing. Miami has 1 win and 6 losses on the road so that’s as bad a loss as you can get. Meanwhile our road record simply isn’t good enough either 1 win , 1 draw and 5 Ls
Wilfried Nancy said #Crew96 wing back Mo Farsi will train today. He said he has had trouble with his knee. Nancy said Josh Williams had his first full week of training but still isn't ready to play yet. Milos Degenek did more than expected and is coming along slowly but surely.— Patrick Murphy (@_Pat_Murphy) June 7, 2023 Also Jardy is assigned to the crew beat
Yep, this is one you* would think the Crew should win, but reality is the league has parity and home field advantage means something in MLS, plus time zone changes often effect teams more than you* may think they should. A point is not a bad result here, despite the standings. *"you" being generic, not directed at Trujdub
I still think @chr1st missed the boat on the prop bet -- Mucho Keicho with Kei and Cucho combining for 3+ goals combined, regardless of who wins because @hangthadj says regular season games don't matter.
I think that's a mostly inaccurate portrayal of my views. To be honest, I think winning the Supporter's Shield is a harder and more impressive achievement than winning MLS Cup. I just don't find that much more joy in finishing 6th as opposed to 9th or 10th with about equal, minimal chances to win MLS Cup from either spot. This season is somewhat different in that the season is enjoyable even as regular season matches don't much matter. I am finding joy in the season, despite a near zero expectation of truly challenging for MLS Cup (or any silverware, since we pissed away the Open Cup). I'll miss this match due to a fundraising event at work, but look forward to enjoying the highlights of a 4-4 draw with multiple goals each from Crew Legends Past and Present Yaw Yeboah and Kei Kamara. Frank Klopas is an asshole. Piss on the fire.
I made this one probably 16 years ago, but a classic is a classic. Out of respect for their fans having been through it, I'm not gonna update the logo.
In other words, the point where we play down to our competition. How soon is Messi going to be playing in Miami? Yikes. Homefield advantage would mean something if more than, oh, 4,000 fans showed up in a stadium that holds 80k. Turns out that moving to a place that more transit goes to WASN'T the solution. There is usually a 2 goal differential or a tie 2-2 involved with them more often than not for the last 15 years it seems.
I would like to know the answer to this question, too. This is the summer of eternal weddings, graduations, and family reunions. Help.
