He could even be on a podium for Balon with Madrid and a great Euros. I don't think it's far-fetched.
🚨 Aston Villa's interest in Harry Maguire is concrete and they plan on signing him as part of a big summer spending spree.(Source: @footyinsider247) pic.twitter.com/PRTUJ587Lo— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) June 7, 2023
When you look at how Lewandowski and Benzema played in their early thirties, it's not hard to imagine the next 2-4 years being the most productive of Kane's career.
Nah, stick in there Fireburn mate. I'd much rather hear your own personal thoughts and opinions than have you relay some journalist's uninformed speculations. They're invariably wide of the mark anyway.
Post what you like mate, your analysis and observations are generally good, but as like everyone you might get called out if you write a bit of fan fiction!
In an ideal world, Mason Mount would like to stay at Chelsea. However, there has been disagreement over the structure of the new contract and there has not been one offer made to since January, a 12-month extension he turned down.- @BobbyVincentFLhttps://t.co/y7uABuIQ7Y— Simon Phillips (@siphillipssport) June 7, 2023 Looks less likely he will move away from Chelsea at least before pre season begins.
A 12 month extension on £80k a week is a bit of a slap in face for him, at least in relative terms of the crazy money in the PL these days. Apparently Bohley wanted him to sign an 8 year contract. It's not surprising things have gone sour if the reports are true.
You often find homegrown players get left behind in terms of contracts, as owners take there loyalty for granted. If that's what's been put on the table for Mount I'm not surprised he's looking at offers from elsewhere.
So given the new guy has his teams pressing high , hard and fast that HAS to mean the end of Harry Kane ., He has many qualities but pressing , chasing down and harassing are not in there
We should just let everyone do their own thing .. I get hassle everywhere because I post too much but I’m an obsessive.. what can I do We all have different opinions and thoughts and different BRAINS ..
Chelsea are obsssed with those long contracts. Lewis Hall is probably be offered a very lengthy extension soon.
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Real Madrid have reached an AGREEMENT with Dortmund for the transfer of Jude Bellingham. 🤑 Fee in excess of €100m.🏥 Medical in the coming days.Source: @David_Ornstein) pic.twitter.com/8PlgV2K0RP— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) June 7, 2023 Should work well for him. No mention in the Athletic on if he is going to withdraw from the upcoming squad due to injury.
Formalities ahead of completion expected to be tied up inside 10 days. As our @DominicKing_DM revealed last week, Bellingham expected to miss England summer games to rest his troublesome knee. https://t.co/RhHlfTBk1r— Sami Mokbel (@SamiMokbel81_DM) June 7, 2023
To be honest, I think Levy is bluffing in all of this. Spurs are not PSG who can afford to just do what they want with no risk or regard for financial consequences. They have suffered a drop in income now with no European football. I think it’ll be too big a chance to take by going into next season with Kane’s future up in the air and no guarantee he’ll sign a deal. Businesses have to prepare for the worst possible scenario and it would be a disaster if he was to leave to another big 6 club next summer. Not just from a hit to pride perspective but the fact it would strengthen whoever he joined significantly and in tandem present a major hurdle to Spurs getting back in the CL. If Kane does want to move on and Levy digs his heels in, a grown up will enter the room and a deal will get done, there’s too much at stake for it not to.
Good thing about Bellingham joining Madrid is that they have plenty of midfielders so won't be relied on as much as he was at Dortmund. Should hopefully help with his knee issue.
