Many choices out there to replace Allegri. I think Gasperini would be a solid replacement. If they want someone younger then bring Tudor. Ideally Zidane, but doubt after not making the champions league next year that we even can afford him. Team needs a hard reset and just use the young talent to rebuild the team. Stop signing players like DiMaria. Also need to get rid of Paredes.
Gian Piero Gasperini won the Torneo di Viareggio: with the Juventus youth team in 2003 and he was with them for 9 years. That was a long time ago but he knows the way Juve do things. The only thing is he will be 66 by mid-season next year and I think his time coaching will be about up.
Gasperini gets in fights with people. He wont work out at Juve. De Zerbi would be prime option but he wont leave Brighton. So Italiano would the better choice. Let him cook for 3yrs then evaluate.
Looks like Tudor may be the man. If so I think DV9 stays......and he will thrive under Igor. If they go another direction, there is s bigger chance they sell DV9.
De Zerbi is my 1st choice. Younger manager with fresh and new ideas who has done brilliant so far . Then Zidane or Tudor. Then Italiano or palodino . Other options I wouldn’t mind would be Mota and Nagelsman
How about this? Allegri will remain at Juventus. [@DiMarzio]— Italian Football News 🇮🇹 (@footitalia1) June 5, 2023
I’d be surprised if Allegri is coach next season. He has blamed Calvo for not qualifying for the Europa . Must be because we will not appeal the 10 points deduction. I think with the plea bargain we have gotten off lightly and therefore I think Calvo has negotiated a good deal for us.
At some point, the decision to retain Allegri will start to affect the bottom line in terms of loss of support and interest. I didn't bother to watch one game after the second leg with Sevilla. If he starts the next season as manager, I can't imagine my interest will change. Nor do I think I am alone.
same, I watched about 30 min between the last few games. I have little interest with Allegri in charge.
I lost interest. I tune in casually and end up doing other stuff around the house because i know i can walk away for a while and not much will happen
Juventus GM Maurizio Scanavino: “We can confirm that Massimiliano Allegri has never been under discussion, his job was never at risk”. ⚪️⚫️ #Juventus“We are sharing our long-term plan with Allegri, our relationship is strong”, he added to Sky Sport. pic.twitter.com/EIBqOtDaEq— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 7, 2023 Yea, I'm out. See ya in a couple of years.
https://football-italia.net/juventus-ceo-scanavino-allegri-is-the-right-person/ If this proves accurate then we are officially back in the wilderness of the Cobli-Gigli days.
In the end, Juve don't want to take the financial hit. From reports they have also abandoned their pursuit of Giuntoli and Massara looks like he could get the job. He and Allegri are good friends they say. Most interesting thing about Juve confirming Allegri is that the rumors said there a players that don't want to play for Allegri anymore. Chiesa being one of them
This is a good enough reason to oust Allegri. Know one is bigger than the club but if we keep Chiesa and Vlahovic over Allegri then Allegri has to go. We can’t afford to lose top players from our squad who are our future.
It would be mind boggling to go with Allegri into next season knowing top players don't like him (and we might lose them also), results are not there and will not be, there is no progress and our style of play is painful to watch. But I guess for some weird reason, Allegri is center of the project. Sweet mother have mercy...
Elkann will get rid of the players before he gets rid of Allegri. Calvo was the only one against Allegri and he has been silenced and moved aside. Scanavino never spoke to the press until the spat Allegri and Calvo had and he's backed Allegri. No one on the board is a football man, they are all lawyers and financial admins. This is gonna go extremely well
Laura Cappiello - corporate lawyer Fioranna Vittoria Negri - financial auditor Maurizio Scanavino - CEO of a media company Diego Pistone - administration and finance Gianluca Ferrero - business economics Francesco Calvo - business administration (and the only one that wants to get rid of Allegri) All business/finance people, zero football knowledge. Its clear Elkann just wants to balance the books, not win.
I think it's clear that Elkann is looking to get Juve situated and then will put the club up for sale. I hope it happens too because Andrea and his cousin have/are ruining the club. At this point, sell it to some oil sheik or country. Let them spend the €€.
Why any talented attacking player would WANT to play for Mad Max at this point is as confounding as why any talented football coach or exec would want to work with ADL.
