Never heard a sweeter sounding word than Feyenoord part 2

Discussion in 'The Netherlands' started by feyenoordsoccerfan, Jun 4, 2012.

  1. The huge Feyenoord champions banner used to wrap in a building

  2. Seems Slot is going to stay as he has said the meetings with Feyenoord were about a probable prolongation/conditions.

  3. "Sky Sports News have also been told that Spurs' bosses feel Slot used their interest in him to get an improved contract in the Netherlands - and it is fully expected he will now sign a new deal with Feyenoord."

Good news for Feyenoord and Slot.
I’m pretty shocked by this in all honesty figuring the money would be the deciding factor, but I think Slot was wise to see how dysfunctional Spurs are.

  5. Given the situation atm at PSV and Ajax regarding the coaching staffs and the uncertainty around players acquisitions Feyenoord has a huge head start going into the summer and the first part of the competition. The Feyenoord selection can continue on the pattern/model engrained this season and absorb new comers with ease. This all will be uncertain for both PSV and Ajax. Only AZ has the same steady as she goes advantage.

  6. Slot not only stays, but he also signed an extention into 2026, without a limited transfersum clause.

  7. Maybe not so good an idea to go off for a couple of days holidaybreak and come back training for the last match on Thursday:

The women of Feyenoord have strengthened themselves with Ziva Henry. The 19-year-old youth international will come over from Ajax in the new season and will sign a contract until mid-2025.

  14. Another thing regarding the Feyenoord women is that they get a "CAO", a collective labour agreement.
    https://www.feyenoordpings.nl/feyenoord-vrouwen-1-krijgt-cao-volgende-stap-in-professionalisering/
Feyenoord is, after Ajax, PSV and FC Twente the 4th club with a taylor made labour agreement, which gives players the conditions and rights that fall under an employment contract. This includes salaries, vacation days, continued payment during long-term injuries or unforeseen absenteeism.

  15. According to the French paper Nice Matin Feyenoord is in the market for Stengs.
Calvin currently is on loan from Nice at Royal Antwerp.

I don’t see any way of losing Kokcu to Portugal other than pathetic for the Eredivisie.

  17. Yup. I'd rather see him move to the epl, at least not to Benfica, given our coefficient battle.
Benfica now has a seriously top midfield with Aursnes and now Kökcü too. I'm not happy with that.

Il Mattino is reporting that Dávid Hancko might be headed to Napoli. What are his strengths?
