When France, England or Spain win a youth tournament = youth work gets praised, kids get hyped, incoming golden generation etc.

Germany win a youth tournament = youth tournament success doesn’t mean much. Lol.

Really hope we can go deep in the u21 Euro, although even if we win that (yet again) it still won’t mean we have any talents :whistling:

I mean I've seen some online say that Germany ruined U21 Euro FOREVER from 2017-onwards by winning the tourney with meh squad. I mean, majority of our key U21 players....skipped U21 to play CC17, so.....people getting pissed that Germany won with B-team, LOL.

super cringe, so Germany should have allowed Spain to win?

there is a huge dislike for Germany at all levels online tbh. Always shrugging off any success but always hyping any other country. Like how many times does one see Israel Golden Gen, Turkey Golden Gen (like majority of them are German poached, LOL), etc Even minnows get more hype than us. Germany=can ******** off, just a fluke, LOL.

yes its different for us for U17 Euro because there are top talents in the squad and our future core of NT gonna revolve around the 2005 Age Group. So that others around that age group are having success, only bodes well for future.

as for 00-01, I can only imagine how triggered people would get if the squad makes any Final, LOL. Would be 4th back to back final....

Bremen can't even integrate anyone but want to poach. And Gladbach hey as long as your NOT from our Academy we'll be interested in you.

Italy seems to want to win U21 Euro, Tonali and Kean who were part of Senior NT have been called up to U21.

seems with success of their 03s in U20 WC, Italy also has numerous 02-03s in U21 Squad too.

if Italy wins both U20 and U21 would be huge boost for them. Better Italy than Spain, France and Pengland.

and yes I would welcome renewed rivalry with Italy, we almost gave Italy Senior NT their worst ever L but it was a poor Italian side.

France U18 aka 2005 with Tel drew Saudi Arabia 2-2, LOL.
Also what a downgrade for Tel, from getting U19 upping to back to U18, LOL.

03 M Rhein (on loan) in SF of Europa Conference League Playoff in Austrian Bundesliga has gotten 2 assists in comeback 2-1 lead for his club AL. They are in verge of playing final.

some people want to write him off but that never made any sense. Its still way too early and looks to be living to his potential during a crucial game for the club.

    Assist 1, in 90+6, for 1-1.
Craziness! The WAC simply risked too much here with the fierce time game! Lustenau manages to equalize with the very last situation! Great cross from Rhein and Grujicic with a well-placed header. What efficiency! The equalizer succeeds with the first shot on goal!

Assist 2, in 105 aka just before end of 1st half of ET, for 2-1 lead
Again Thorben Rhein has his feet decisive in the game! Fantastic solo effort by the young German. Piesinger moves out of the chain and thus opens the pass on Fridrikas.

while 00 CF Malone (also on loan) drew a PK for Wolfsberger in same match for their goal while being down 2-1 vs AL.

If he is living up to his potential, he will have impressed bigger clubs and will move to one in the summer. Let’s see if that’s the case.

not necessarily, just said he's living up to his potential in a key match. If he goes on reloan next season in Austrian 1st (or another 1st Abroad league) it would be about gaining consistency at pro level and getting to next level physically.

nothing says he has to move to bigger club THIS Summer.
At his age, game time is much much much much more important than big club or ending up in 1BL to a club that has him on bench all season.

most equate Austrian Bundesliga to being 2BL level. Some who played both, have said Austrian 1st>>>>>2BL too.

in any case when one looks at 02-03 Ms, Rhein still provides something none of the other Ms in those age groups give you. His skill set is different than what others give offer.

since he's already 20 y/o, haven't you written him off anyways? Since you do have a teenage fixation and don't really care about injury issues or physicality issues for any player. So his progress or lack of progress shouldn't interest you anyways.;):p

Rhein is a better prospect than 00 M Martin who is looking like 1BL Heidenheim or 1BL Koln Summer transfer. Yeah Koln and integrating their own youth, Baumgart=joke. Point is if Martin can end up in 1BL, so can Rhein at some point.

I do think its disturbing how all these German 1BL clubs fight over German youth with pro experience but balk at doing any integration themselves.

that is why majority of 1BL has become useless for integration.

we also got answer on one of the 02-03 debutant, 2BL FD will not renew contract of 02 CB Vukancic also no renewal for 00 M Geerkens. Who knows if they were offered contracts and said no, but end result both are leaving. Both were not far off from 1st team squad this season too.

oh well Vukancic=German-Croatian, hard to care knowing he'd have been poached had he brokenthrough 2BL.

-04 LB Ba is linked with Austrian 1st LASK transfer, would presume loan.
    https://www.nachrichten.at/sport/fu...eutschen-pokalsieger-im-visier;art100,3842226

-LMAO, ex DFB and Augsburg 1st team coach Manuel Baum is now RB Leipzig NLZ boss....yeah can't wait for none to make the 1st team and more like Krauss+Martel and end up playing for other 1BL clubs.
    https://www.kicker.de/neuausrichtun...olt-manuel-baum-als-nlz-leiter-954824/artikel

-02 W Nankishi and 01 W/LB Schonfelder looking like more loaning, I presume both will end up in Bremen's fav 3rd Liga. Neither was helped by spending majority of season injured.
    https://www.deichstube.de/news/werd...ver-burke-zukunft-bundesliga-zr-92325477.html

-05 GK Geisler of FD U19 is linked with Galatasaray transfer according to Bild, LOL, so random, doesn't even seem to be Turkish either.

-06 CF Akaegbobi (moving from Dynamo U17 to Wolfsburg U19) and 04 CF/W Ehrlich (moving from Dynamo U19 to Augsburg II).
    https://www.liga3-online.de/fuer-wohl-300-000-euro-dynamo-laesst-zwei-jugendspieler-ziehen/

    -on 05 CB Buchmann

I'm curious about WTF Wolfsburg is doing at their Academy.
-they extended with 03 GK Schulze but he needs a loan
-they seem to want to integrate 05 CF Pejcinovic, although he's not from Academy

-04 CB Lange, 05 LB Braun, 05 AM/W Herrmann signed pro contracts
-06 CB Odogu and 07 W Benedict have both signed precursor to pro contracts

05 M Amoako also seems well liked at the club.

    -In Summer 2023 transfers IN
06 CF Akaegbobi (from Dynamo), 06 W Costa (tons of clubs wanted to poach him from HSV)

then there is also fact that Wolfsburg U17 aka 2006s ended up 2nd place in U17 Championship. Not gonna bother talking about the rated talents there as its better to see how they do in U19 1st.

Aside from Arnold, how many youngsters from Wolfsburg’s Academy have made it into the first team in the last few years?

he's Iraqi??? LOL. I find his name Jussef weird as in arabic it would be Youssef or Yusef aka Joseph in English.

I mean Iraqi fans claim because they poached Amyn that it means all German-Iraqis are open for poaching. Amyn was NEVER one of the best 2003, Hannes Wolfs only called him up because he was a regular in 3rd Liga.....DFB have habit of not always calling up best players but based on who's playing pro footy....cringe.

German-Iraqis and German-Egyptian seem to be on rise in Germany. I guess Iraq due to War had a lot of immigration.

Nasrawe and Licina are talented player but Bayern is a waste of time club. Club can't even integrate Wanner-Ibra.....

axed II and barely any loaning and prior to this Wolfsburg was constantly going on spending spree. Numerous spending sprees of theirs got them close to relegation zone, LOL. So yeah one sees numerous ex Wolfsburg youth in 1BL at other clubs or in 2BL level.

as of now Wolfsburg is a club where one has to make it elsewhere. I've made a list in past about issue of every single 1BL club in Germany in terms of intregation. Some people seem to think if you have top talents or Elite that they will breakthrough.....we keep seeing reality that even such players get dumped on loan and integration is less and less a thing. Its disturbing when more and more clubs indicate if they integrate its ONLY MAYBE for the Elite/HUGE talents......but for foreign youth they don't need to be anything Elite as long as they have pro exp and fit the dev/sell concept. Stupid but that is one of issues plaguing German football in terms of breakthrough, how its harder and harder to breakthrough. Every club wants to play Europe including Wolfsburg and nobody wants to go down, so most coaches aren't gonna waste any time on integration. Its why its actually better to be in 2BL-3rd Liga Academies for a lot of players. Its also cringe how these same clubs who don't integrate all fight over any German youth who has pro experience from other clubs hence they don't want to integrate ones with 0 exp.

who knows about breakthrough in future. The U17 made super super rare reaching the final and they are signing some promising players.

Speaking of Wolfsburg youth aka ex Wolfsburg youth now.
04 AM/W Meier who impressed in 2/2 Wolfsburg preseason but 0 chances moves to 3rd Liga Hallescher. I think its a good transfer for him. He's a 04 aka 2027 U21 candidate, so has 2 years before the start of his U21 cycle, more then enough time to be at the min level to be U21 candidate.

    HFC SIGNS MATTHEW MEIER
Hallesche FC has signed a versatile prospect for the offensive for the 2023/24 season. Matthew Meier is 19 years old and comes to the Saale from VfL Wolfsburg.

"Matthew Meier can hold various positions, regularly trains with the Bundesliga pros in Wolfsburg and should put pressure on the competition in his own team with his speed and his distinctive skills in one-on-one situations. He has all the prerequisites to gain a foothold in the 3rd division and to push his promising development with us in Halle at a high level," explains HFC sports director Thomas Sobotzik.

According to Kicker, 1BL Union Berlin is interested in 00 GK Fruchtl. And yeah like more clubs are interested in him too. I do think either this Summer or Summer 2024 and he'll play higher than Austrian 1st.

Another player who should be very popular abroad is Christian Früchtl. Union Berlin are said to be keeping an eye on the German goalkeeper, who joined Vienna from Bayern Munich II just last summer, and will put good money in the club's purple coffers in the event of a transfer. "Basically, I think we did everything right to give him the chance to show himself to us. He showed really strong performances, was called up for the German U-21 national team and now also at the European Championship Of course, this can lead to interest developing, especially in the German market," says Ortlechner. However, no formal offer has yet been received for Früchtl either. This applies to every player with a contract in the squad that runs beyond the summer.

ALWAYS have to cringe at how anyone always force themselves to make it into top 5 league....none gives a shit about top 5 its top 4 league..............then the others. People do the same thing when they wanted to force Mbappe, Messi, Neymar into every stats for Europe by including Ligue 1 in everything its cringe French fixation.

so Maza, Moukoko and Weiper made list, and only 5 players from top 4 league, LOL.

Ligue 1 is about dev domestic players, top 4 leagues aren't about dev domestic players. So it makes a HUGE difference too.

I find it interesting to see that Dortmund has talents in GKs, CBs, LBs, AM/W, CFs. Missing that M.

    -00 M Osterhage=brokethrough XI in 1BL Bochum
-00 M Raschl=basically XI in 2BL Furth and will eventually end up back in 1BL
-01 M Michel=actually NOT a Dortmund product came from Stuttgart but actually a Freiburg dev youth. Has traiend/friendlies with 1st team but obviously has no prospects, could see him have 2BL-1st Abroad interest
-02 M Amedick=returns to II from a hit RL loan, if he breakthrough he would be only 2nd 2002 Dortmund Academy player to play II after Knauff.
-02 M Roggow (Summer Transfer from Pauli)=2BL Pauli gave him pro contract but 0 integration at that club so bailed. Don't see him making 1st team though.
-03 M Gurpuz=NOT our problem anymore has he got poached by Turkey
-03 M Lutke-Frie=Spent entire season injured and according to some is supposed to retry Dortmund II/3rd Liga next season
-04 M Walz=As of now looking like he's bailing. He did train/friendlies with 1st team and has a lot of Serie A and other clubs being interested. He also seems to prefer Italy over Germany too, like most German-Italians too.
-04 M Ludwig=As of now also looking like bailing, also trained/friendlies with 1st team.
-05 M Lubach=interesting player but doubtful has any real 1st prospects even if he were to get chance in 1st team training.
-05 M Posadas (Summer transfer)=He's injury prone but seen as top talent. A LOT of clubs wanted him but Dortmund got him. And its already confirmed that Dortmund sees him as eventually playing II/3rd Liga....that tells you a lot because clear that players who can't breakthrough II won't ever make Dortmund 1st team. Its likely 1st step if one doesn't go U19 to 1st directly.
-06 M Watjen=started to play some Dortmund U19 and is rated player too. Was also U17 captain too.
-06 M Gurpuz=Like his older bro, not our problem anymore he's poached by Turkey.

at this point seems like Posadas and Watjen are our best bet from Dortmund Ms, although no guarantee and let's hope Posadas stays injury free for once.....

01 W Hollerbach scoring brace for 2-1 lead for 3rd Liga Wehen in Promotion Playoff. Its his 3rd goal in the current 6-1 on aggregate aka he's scored 50% of the goals. So its all but confirmed, that 00 GK Lyska, 01 LB Ezeh and 01 W Hollerbach will play 2BL next season. Who would have guessed that Hollerbach's career ended up better than Hartmann (destroyed by injuries), OBM, Dajaku, etc from 01 AM/W. Will be curious to see how he does the 2BL jump.
