An E2 win would help the team jump up and tie the Defiance in the standings. GO EARTHQUAKES II !!! -G
The Defiance are more than the Flounders 2, they are supposed to be competitive in their league. So their roster is more stable and they are more focused on results. They play in a sharp little baseball stadium. But, it’s BogusTurf TM, and a little short and narrow. Also, it’s nowhere near downtown Tacoma. Kind of unfortunate that.
That’s horrible. At least this game will be played in PayPal Park, for whatever that’s worth. GO EARTHQUAKES II !!! -G

Whoa, both teams with a lot of first team players starting. I think they want to win badly. Should be a contentious game.
None of the 1st teamers really distinguishing themselves too much. Maybe Skahan. When he gets a chance to make a play he usually does something pretty good. And he's quick. Have been a little disappointed with Bouda's speed. Doesn't look bad but doesn't stand out much. Niko hasn't been too much of a factor. I wish he'd learn to use his right foot. That's going to limit his effectiveness over time unless it changes. Being a one-footed center mid is not great. The 17-year old academy player headed for Cal, Giancarlo Mota-Morfin, is doing pretty well at LB in place of Tingey. Quick feet. I think a took a Mota-Morfin for my headache this morning - coincidence!
The final score is: 1 (6) - (5) 1 GO EARTHQUAKES II !!! -G P.S. = Please don't post results of other soccer games and other sports' games in this thread until at least 24 hours after they've ended.
See, I hope that’s not the answer. Next Pro changed the rules in the middle of the season last year on red card suspensions. Tingey is required to miss the next game they play Colorado, not the game against Tacoma. Perhaps it was too many yellow cards? I hope the Quakes know the rules. I have to wonder sometimes.
Oh. Well Kylen Mills (I think that's who was broadcasting) said it was red card suspension. She gets a lot of direct quotes from the coaches and sometimes reads them verbatim, so I assume that she was going off of information she got from them, but not sure. I suppose it's possible they don't know the rules. :embarrassedemoji
They're not scheduled to play Colorado again, so in that case it reverts to normal and the suspension is served the next game. I just checked the MLSNP regulations to confirm this.
