eboe with the KHT + 1. A very rare achievement. But again, I'm keeping that NorthendDiva pic on the shelf.
𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐌𝐋𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒 played with pure skill, elegance, and technique. Congratulations to Artur on reaching an incredible milestone!#HoldItDown pic.twitter.com/KIEgp7XkFv— Houston Dynamo FC (@HoustonDynamo) May 21, 2023 Not gonna lie, I love Artur.
Congratulations to Crew Legend Gyasi Zardes for being only the 13th player in league history with 100 goals, and in the eyes of some soccer experts the first in league history to score over 75 of them with his knee, face, or clumsy ass. Not bad for a washed up has been. The Gyasi Zardes Hype Train rolls on.
Just check the only like on this Twit. I'm still bitter about the 2004 MLS Cup playoffs.— Drew Van Runkle (@DrewVanRunkle) June 1, 2023
https://www.nfl.com/news/norma-hunt-mother-of-chiefs-chairman-and-ceo-clark-hunt-dead-at-85 Norma Hunt (Lamar's widow) has died.
For the callow youth amongst us, that's Dan Hunt, Norma, Clarkie the Liar and GM Mark McCullers, a really good guy who had to find employment elsewhere One thing you have to say is that the Hunt men do manage to marry pretty women. Maybe being billionaires has something to do with it.
I was recently thinking about Mark. He took a lot of shit (probably rightfully so) for signing that hideous Time Warner deal. The tweets about it are still active. If he had manned up and signed the more-expensive deal with Fox Sports and then told TW customers their issues with those games was on their provider (aka the truth)...well, that would have been an interesting alternative timeline. Does Two Buttons still come into the picture? Is Mark still involved in the team in 2023? It's fun to guess. As far as who they marry...they say money can't buy love. They lie.
Reunion game vs Club America. Wow. Full Stop.@GibranAraige of TUDN reporting that Gregg Berhalter is the #1 Option for Club America. https://t.co/Owo6Bhhxuj— herculez gomez (@herculezg) June 13, 2023
If you had to hire berhalter right now as the Crew head coach or the Crew GM, which berhalter are you hiring?
I'm a big GGG fan but this Nancy ball is funner. Would have liked to see Gregg with the current purse as GM. Pedro, Mensah, Zardes, Artur, Afful, and Valenzuela were his signings. Just don't have him sign a LW.
Mexican Media 1 hour ago said it was a done deal. 5 minutes ago they said no because he's still in consideration for the USMNT job. 10 people have been interviewed for the USMNT job, including Henry, Vieira, Marsch, Cherundolo, Perez...
Oh, JFC. Really? Lord help us. Who are the other five? What is your source? Henry and Vieira—pass Cherundolo—interesting. I could get behind that. Marsch—was the frontrunner. Not sure why might prefer a job with a European club (as was rumored) over the National Team. Perez—as in Hugo Perez? Might be my first choice.
Perez is not named but it's rumored New USSF sporting director Matt Crocker has interviewed more than 10 coaches for the vacant #USMNT job — including candidates from England, France, Germany, Spain, Central America and several from the U.S. — sources tell @FOXSoccer: https://t.co/XutjMn17rz— Doug McIntyre (@ByDougMcIntyre) June 13, 2023 The job is not attractive. Reportedly it will not pay more than about a million dollars. There's one important competition left before the World Cup, and it is the Copa America, which we have to qualify for by advancing in the upcoming nations league this fall. Another theory is Marsch is waiting out his contract with Leeds that pays much much better than the US job. Feel free to move to another thread. I'm on team bring back Gregg or hire Hugo. Don't like Marsch.
The job has not paid a ton in the past but that may change; they have to know that to attract top level guys they're going to have to up the ante. Or maybe when they get done paying the ladies all those millions that they didn't earn, they won't have the money,
Wasn't Berhalter on like 1.7 mil or so? Crazy that theyll possibly spend less especially in a situation where they probably need to overpay to get someone remotely good. Unless they're going to take a chance on someone who isn't proven at any higher level. Perez probably does make a lot of sense . He's been a part of the team in the past but probably isn't connected to the people attached to the drama. He's shown he could do a lot with a rag tag little El Salvador team....and he's probably familiar enough with the American soccer landscape over all. He would be affordable too. I would think its either him, a current MLS coach, or Gregg again. Is a coach like a Viera going to come deal with our sh!tshow for 1 mil?
I know of one that plays attractive attacking soccer, but I don't want to give him up. I wonder if USSF is considering him.
