Kane would be the perfect replacement for Benzema. If Mbappe wants to come next season, we'll worry about it then, but you can't risk it on that hope. He can score from anywhere, a prolific finisher. And you won't notice a drop in the ability to link the lines. Vini will love him and he will love Vini.

Only concern would be mentality. He's never played those "big" games, on either club or national level. Does he have that Madrid mentality? How will he adapt to away games at Atletico or Valencia or Osasuna?

Despite his injury troubles at RM, Bale used to show up in biggest games. He played CL in only 1 season before RM move. I think Kane is a safe bet to score in a bulk number of games as that's what he has done all his career.

I don't rate Lewa as a big game player other than his 2013 CL moment vs RM. Even when Bayern finally won a CL with him, Lewa was a front runner & invisible in final. But he gets the job done in league games consistently. That'd be my normal expectations for Kane.

Bale had Ronaldo to take most of the pressure off of him though, Kane likely won't. Only way to know.

Vini has turned into a big match player though. He was really impressive vs City at the Bernabéu despite Benzema hobbling through the whole match. Bellingham also would help with our creativity.

Kane just gotta finish the chances Vini, Bellingham etc creates. Let's hope Carlo plays the right midfield instead of dragging Modric and Kroos in big games.

This is my question regarding Havertz. The technical stuff is good but what about the mentality?

I don’t know about that, he’s good but he’s not Benz good, certainly not with a football at his feet, it will take time for he and Vin to gel as Vin has to get used to a different kind of player, Kane may link well but his football just is not on Benz’s level, Kane is functional and definitely gets the job done ( which I guess is all we need) but IMO the technical level is not close

I don’t think both Toni and Luka should start any games together in the upcoming season never mind the big ones ( as I also said this season, they shouldn’t) but I have to ask, what is the right midfield, the one that guarantees we win big games

Camavinga, Bellingham, Tcho/Fede midfield gives us a good chance of not getting blown away by quality teams like City. They can match intensity of top quality teams and are press resistant as well. Kroos, Modric midfield that doesn't have legs anymore guarentees more embarrasments like vs City. That's the only guarentee.

I’ve not seen much of him tbh, but he did score the winner in the champions league final. That’s something?

    Jose Felix Diaz (Marca) :

It seems that Nacho is the next to depart from Real Madrid in the coming hours.

Nacho has an offer from Inter Milan and there is a new club entered on the negotiation line recently.

Dani Ceballos asked Real Madrid administration to give him an extra week before making a decision on his future.

Maybe we needed that Slap in the face
I think the club saved over the years with all the selling of players and incomes, over 400M to spend.

    p.s
Kane has one year contract and he 30 years old. I really hope we don’t go crazy for him. 100M is enough

I'm fine with 80M+15M for Kane. 3 years contract would be great if he'd accept that.
Davies has a contract until 2025, not 2024.

I'm going to slide in early and say that I'm cautious about Davies.

The squad won everything. 5 CL. We need new blood and hunger. It’s time to build a team for the coming decade. And more important. We need to give Man City a fight because they won like 5 of 6 last EPL and 2 times in the last 3 years final CL, while they only lost to us in the stoppage time
