The citadel holds!! Seriously, the coach knows how to set up a defense.

Sometimes being lucky is better than being good. Onto the semis. Forza Corea!

Not completely lucky. A good defense is a matter of organization, fighting spirit and good decision making. Yes, Nigeria had more chances, but no true sitters.

Dayum, scored from our only shot on goal!!! Good team defending over all, we certainly need that to continue - but they've been comfortable letting the opponents play/hold the majority of the ball (whether for good or bad reasons). They've had a run of being used to fighting in tight games and then taking their chances. Well done.

The semi-final exam is beating the masters of defending at their own game. I'm hopeful the several days of rest can help the boys recover their stamina and mental sharpness.

Sadly, both that game and the hypothetical final are very late (starting at 23:00 GMT+1), and so, I will only have my spirit with the team, instead of eyes on the screen.

Brasil must be in utter meltdown again. As far as they're concerned - they lost to a minnow

I'm very happy for your qualification! Your team really has potential and honor, unlike the Japanese team. Well done Korea, and I wish you every success against Italy.

Israel is the dark horse of this WC imo. Won't be surprised if they reach the final.

A hypothetical question: is the president legally allowed to exempt this team from military service if they win the World Cup? I know this is the U-20 World Cup only, but it would be an achievement to win it.

Interesting fact: No semifinalists of this edition have ever won the FIFA U20 World Cup.

I didn't get to watch this one...

    Pretty defensive game?
I've heard there were some bad calls against Korea...

The yellow against our striker was BS. The referee didn't see obvious play-acting. Other than that, it was OK.

Lee Seung Won got a yellow card for a 50-50 ball where both players slid. When I saw that, I was like here we go again
