The thing that's crazy with Arias is how much he plays AFTER contact. He is constantly running through tackles.

He's one of the braver Colombian players I've seen with the ball at his feet.

With our luck he would go to a Premier League team and get injured for 6 months walking onto the field.

Kinda just want him to thrive in Brasil for a while.

Totally get that and really at 25 he either goes to Europe this summer or should just play out career in Brasil.

UK scares me for him, the way he plays riding through tackles I can just see a 3rd division guy doing his knee in a Cup tie... But really that can happen to anyone anytime and he should take the money when he can.

But Arias in Italy would beast!

Hockey assist in Flu tie with Vasco in a carioca derby.

Poor result but he was all over the field.

This is player is criminally underrated. I say if he’s leaving Brazil this summer is his last chance or else he will be to old to make that jump. I wouldn’t mind him staying tho .

Arias with an assist in Nense's 2-1 win over Bragantino today. Leads the Brazilian league in assists.

this guy has been a gem of a player this year. Lorenzo needs to exploit his full potential. The only thing missing now is finding a striker on form that can finish.

At mid point in Brazilian season, Arias leads the league in assists with 12.

Arias was just denied a remarkable end to end solo goal by VAR.

He is really effective and I hope he gets his transfer NOW (early in the window) so he can adapt wherever he ends up, OR, he just stays there at Nense and stays healthy because his we've been screaming for RW play like this to balance the field with Diaz/Sini.

Is the Portuguese league truly better than Brazil?

Top 4 plus Champions league/Europa def is. Seems like you're a lot more likely to get scouted to a bigger Euro team too in Portugal vs Brazil even for the mid table sides. For Arias unless to one of the top 4 in Portugal it doesn't seem worth it, his profile and playing for the NT probably gives him enough visibility to get a better move, top 4 though most of our players do really well in that league.

Gorgeous assist to Cano just now to put Fluminense up 1-0 ahead of Santos in 75th minute.

Beat his man for pace on the right and delivered inch perfect cross into box anticipating Canos run for a tap in.

Absurd to me that we aren't hearing about teams competing for Arias' signature this window. Only explanation is that at this point 25 years of age is considered too late to make the move?
