Justin Che going to ground unnecessarily, again. He’s done that so many times, and it always ends in a goal.

 

Big bummer, had started this game looking great on the ball and tactically. Killed on a counter

 

Such a bummer, getting an early goal, making them chase, more likely to tire them out but nope, we give it up and now they can try to conserve their energy. ----.

 

The biggest factors in that were Luna's tunnel vision and Craig's lack of speed. Luna missed a switch to Halliday. Then on the same possession he turned it over from holding the ball too long.

For Craig's part, he made a bad slow step, then couldn't cut off the passing lane on the recovery. Che tried to be the hero, but couldn't. Maybe discretion was the better part of valor.

 

I didn't see the number, but a center back marked space instead of the man that scored.

Edit: It was Wynder. He probably thought he needed to take away the far post shot, but he needed to be aware of the runner.

 

Wolff is weak link.

We're we've been most vulnerable in the previous games but didn't get caught by it has been in the cutback. Uruguay make no mistake here and put it away. There's still plenty to play.

Wiley has not been so good overall in this one, and his lack of deftness in the final 3rd has really hurt us again.

They really let us off there w/that shot from distance. They have us on our heels. Really annoyed the guys didn't get their heads right after getting smashed in March. Panicking aint great. And it looks like some are panicking. Play your game, as Brooks said so many years ago.

Plus you gotta be aware of the guys coming around back. Where would somebody want to be? Even if you don't see it with your eyeballs, your defensive soccer brain should be telling you.
