Seems Anthony Taylor had a rough time at the airport today. :whistling:
Didn't see too much of the match so I can't really comment on his performance.

I didn’t watch a second of it. But I just heard a discussion of the match on a podcast where they talked about how José waited for Taylor in the parking lot. And it wasn’t to thank him.

He is so clearly past his shelf life date, it would benefit the world if he just shuffled off to Buffalo. And I don’t mean Anthony Taylor.

Just caught up with the highlights from League One promotion final. Big ups to Darren Moore and his Wednesday boys. Lots of good old Wembley drama including a late late late winner. Worth a watch.

Oh and there was an emotional Windass playoff-final game-winner which replicated his dad’s strike 14 years earlier?

Wembley’s served up some treats this May. I don’t suppose we could expect anything similar this Saturday could we???

Wembley is such a shitty stadium to watch on television when the sun is out.

And 15 seconds in, ETH has to implement a Plan B

And Gundog’s quick-thinking opportunism was just astounding

And VAR evens up the score. At 32’ it’s back to where we started. Hmm…

Until dudes learn how to jump whilst keeping their arms firmly against their body, we'll keep seeing those given.

EDIT - physiologically . . . maybe not entirely possible, mind you

It’s a rare day when I find myself rooting for Yanited to comeback. But here I am nonetheless

And not that I ever put a lot of stock in us acquiring Gundog, his price tag must’ve gone up a little bit today.

Why? We get to play in the Community Shield because they lost. I agree it's not much of a trophy but I like getting to test ourselves against City as much as possible.

Oh I forgot about that. Not that I think the Shield game is much of a blessing. It’ll curtail our preseason even earlier I figure.

Why did I want Citeh to losr? There’s nothing I like about them, their dominance, and how they engineered it. YMMV

One week. If we're not ready to go by then, I'd be surprised.

I suppose it does vary. I don't like City at all of course. But there are probably three clubs I can't stand more than them. I bet you can guess. Plus, like Andrew and others have said, I can more easily compartmentalize it when City wins things ---- they're supposed to being that financially doped.

Totally forgot that match was today. Mind you, I didn't care about it, either.

Pleased for Gundalf - he has quietly been one of the best midfielders in europe over the last 3 years

I'm almost afraid to ask, but are we really falling ass backwards into Ilkay Gundogan this summer, like we did Zinchenko the year before?

I don't care how old he is, his presence alone improves the club.

I think he wants Barcelona and Barcelona want him. Since he’s a free agent, Barcelona will probably find a way to make it work.

No slight on Arsenal, necessarily, but he could go anywhere, why stay in the Premier League, when he's not even English?

    Gundalf most certainly does pass.
