- Halliday replaced Gomez at RB
- Paredes still not in the XI. Same with Pukstas
- McGlynn and Vargas in CM
- Wolff-Luna-Cowell spearhead the attack

Not to discredit our switches but they have been done with no pressure and to a wide open player.

 

The US out-playing them early (though the Gambia was too). Nice diagonals by Che, and thrus by McGlynn. Give Sullivan those balls that Wiley is getting. Wiley doesn't know what to do as a natural fb.

 

Smart to go with what's working. Don't overthink. If it looks like it isn't working and you need a guy late, like how they use Paredes at Wolfsburg, put him in.
