neither will Borre at this rate

I'd assume Bayern Munich would sign Kolo Muani

Yeah. That made the rush to sell Borré (insisting not to loan) in Jan by Frankfurt weird to me considering he won them their biggest trophy in their history less than a year ago.

    Borre finally gets to play

Muani is tired from scoring goals and needs to rest.

Actually they started together in the Pokal today and Borré scored!

    But Muani scored 2!

I don't understand why they don't play together all the time...

    Nice twist to the story!

That was going to be my next point

If the boss was set on having a single forward. Idk Muani too well so thought he was possibly too similar to Borre

Borre can only dream of outscoring Muani. Good for him that he at least got something

Muani picked up a straight red today so maybe Borre can start the next game.

Muani will be moving this summer, he will command huge money and I can't see Frankfurt not banking. The question is if they see Rafa as their long term solution?

Given what he's already done for them, one would think so, but their openness to sell in Jan makes me nervous. I like the Bundesliga for him and he's already shown that Europa league (where Frankfurt will likely end up) is a great fit for him.

The numbers this season are tough - his performance did not respond well to getting benched for Kolo Muani... 10 starts and 22 sub appearances yielding 2 goals and 2 assists in Bundesliga.

He is capable of more as he showed prior season. Hope he can bounce back.

He's not there to be the goal scorer. He's there so that more chances get created for himself, Diaz, Sini, Arias, Carrascal, Valoyes, Duran, Yaser, etc.

If you want a goal scorer, put in Falcao. And watch the whole offense stutter as a result.

Yeah Borre's game is never gonna be getting a ton of goals, but he offers a ton of other stuff that makes him valuable and makes others better and that's fine. Muani and Borre completely different profiles, but Frankfurt were doing well the season before with Borre getting a lot more minutes and I'm sure they can go back to that when they sell Muani.
