Fine, court costs, a few other surcharges and probably X number of hours community service.

His heroic stand will cost him somewhere in the region of £1500, I’m guessing. Plus community service.

And then there’s the the little problem of his present job (will they keep him?) and future employment due to a criminal conviction. But he took a principled stand, right?

Real Madrid have already made contact with Tottenham and Harry Kane about the possibility of signing the England striker, 29, as a replacement for former France striker Karim Benzema, 35, who has confirmed he is leaving Real this summer.

wtf???? how can this be allowed?

Chelsea moved ahead of Paris St-Germain in the race to sign Ugarte with a proposal to buy a minority stake in Portuguese giants Sporting as part of the deal.

His community service should be in Liverpool and be very public!

Some are saying it's a very good appointment - attacking football and innovative.

    Except for one thing.

Spurs: It’s where good managers go to become less gooder.

"less gooder"? tsk -- I think the phrase you're looking for is "more Spurs-er".

Spurs-ier. But I do think less gooder in better than more Spursier. Close but less gooder.

Anyone can become less gooder but it takes real talent to go Spursy.
