Need to ensure this team is hungry and motivated to take back the Liga title next season. If he ain’t up for it or is too close to the squad on a personal level to make the tough decisions, then he should move on. Let’s see how it goes, and how we reload the squad for next season.

100%. He made some odd decisions this season based on personal relationships instead of on the field quality. If he wants some more time in Madrid, he needs to really look closely at what went wrong this summer.

Atrocious League campaign; getting dominated by most LaLiga teams week in and week out and barely slipping into 2nd place in the final seconds of the campaign because Atleti love choking..

It doesn't matter who comes and who leaves over the summer, I don't see much changing next year. Carlo has to go..

Some really weird moves and non-moves as well. No one is perfect but we haven’t looked that great this season other than spurts here and there. We’ve gotten carved up regularly but sides both upper and lower table. Got to solidify the midfield and fullback spots and get back to having real balance. I like the idea of using our young players more and forcing them to step up. Gives us better options to press more and win the ball high up the pitch.

If we didn’t had Courtuis, Carlo for sure was sacked

Nagelsmann is available. The club wanted him before so they know him pretty well.
We have an incredible of young players with all the right characteristics for modern football. It's worth trying to build a new system that will maximise their potential. He could probably do that.

He’s close to PSG and even though a talented coach it’s too soon for Madrid

So a manager needs to be unemployed in order to arrive? If I remember correctly we bought Ancelotti off PSG in his first stint here..

I’m saying bring in who. Where did I say they needed to be employed or unemployed?

The question I have regarding Ancelloti...is why would you start a new project with a coach who will only be here for 1 year....

If we're going to do this with Carlo, might as well extend his contract.

    Otherwise...it's a bit strange no?

So you're saying theres literally no one better than Ancelotti out there.

Because its not really a new project. All due respect to Kane, you don't start a new project with a 30 year old who plays a very similar game to the 35 year old he replaced.

I said it a million times: we need first a new coach and then new signings.

Because we don't sign players relevant to the manager. We probably give them some input but that's rarely been our transfer policy. Last time we did that was Mou and to a lesser extent Lopetegui

It isn't just about the signings. It's more about the system...style of play ...etc:

    - We're going to sign at least 4 players this summer due to the outgoings (Kai, Jude, Fran, Brahim and at least 1 or 2 more);

    - Our young midfield core of Tchou, Cama, Jude, Fede is going to start taking on more responsibility

It would therefore make sense to get our new guys and the young guys already here to start familiarising themselves with a system and style they will be playing in for the next 3 years .....not just 1 season.

If Carlo is staying, extend him 2 more season, so the squad can reach its maximum potential under Carlo's system.... otherwise bring someone with a new system and let our young guys and new players adapt to that system as quickly as possible.

    Anyways just my opinion

There is nobody available. We’re not employing Xabi or Naglesmann and we’re not paying a club to get a coach out of contract.

So no. There is nobody available or better.

Anyone would think we went trophyless.

Such a spoilt fan base at times.

Only one I could see would be ZZ and no one seemed to like his style either , he too apparently had too many favorites , stifled Vin etc etc, fans want a coach who will play the players and use a system they deem worthy rather than the players the coach chooses after working with them day in and day out , and the systems that the fans know will work rather than what the coach thinks, with what is going on now, if the team is refreshed but don’t play well I can see all of the blame will be heading Carlo’s way nonstop, no two ways about that, and none towards the players themselves.

On another note, at the same time it is claimed Carlo can’t improve young players and unlock potential it is also claimed that it’s thanks to him that Vin is thriving ……….odd

Carlo brought success to the club, no doubt, and he ain't a bad coach, some memorable moments of great comebacks in some very difficult games in the CL and a league title vs a barca side that was half managed. Both of these wins are impressive, but none are showing we have any *working system* - and you saw it more clearly this year. Carlo can't adapt.
As Mr. Einstein said (or at least I think its him):
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
So I'm not sure why you think this season will be different in terms of formation, starting midfield and even the confusion we have in defense.
