on topic of Ouro-Tagba vs Rijkhoff.
I just find it funny that Rijkhoff's deficits are more glaring tbh, lack of speed and athleticism isn't really something one gains down the line. If your slow, your slow, no training will make you fast. And athleticism, players who tend to lack there, a lot of times don't get it. How many times, have we seen X or Y could have been World Class or Elite if they had athleticism......

whereas Ouro-Tagba's deficits are things that one can actually improve on.

yet you have the one with fixable issues being written off by 3rd Liga coach while the one with not really fixable issues, the one he can fix is improving physically though is being left open if he breakthrough 1BL, LOL.

    IT HAS BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Schalke Boss Peter Knabel on 06 RB Bulut and 06 M Ouedraogo!!!
"A tournament like that does something to the boys. It's not so easy to stay grounded after such a big success as a teenager. There were numerous scouts from top European clubs in the stands, who could not have missed the good performances. We will decide with the boys, their advisors and our U19 coach Norbert Elgert how to proceed. These are the guys who have a lot of prospects with us."

    WAZ+ Update
It is now certain that Assan Ouedraogo will train with the pros at least a few times in the coming season. Thomas Reis has already announced that he will keep a few spots in training for players from the Knappenschmiede.

According to Sky on 04 CF Topp, 06 RB Bulut and 06 M Ouedraogo
Keke Topp is the first player who may be promoted to the pros as early as next season. Taylan Bulut and Assan Ouedraogo are set to follow in the following season. But it could also go faster after the relegation, because especially on Ouedraogo they think very highly of Schalke.

next season gonna be interesting as we shall see more and more 2005 breakthrough pros, already bunch of them are fixed in matchday squads of 1BL-2BL, and that will only increase next season and the following one.

and then next season will likely start seeing the begining of the emergence of the 2006 age group players. We've already seen a handful make 1BL-2BL-1st Abroad bench this season.

and of course ALL 2004 are officially done with U19, so starting next season, its all adult for them no more youth. We've already seen a pretty decent amount of 2004 who have at min made pro debuts.

    these are the 2027 U21 Euro (04-05) and 2029 U21 Euro (06-07), LOL.

will be interesting to see what the 02-03 2025 U21 Euro Pool will look like. We already have players of all positions minus RB (LOL) who have brokenthrough relevant pros. And we've seen transfers and pro contracts already happening in Summer. Should make a list pre-July transfer market and then one in September 1, when market is closed to see what how it compares.

-01 AM/W Jahn Herrmann's Austrian 2nd club got promoted to Austrian Bundesliga. Since he arrived in Winter with 2023 contract, unknown if he'll go up with them or not.

-02 CF Hartwig (on loan) scored the 1-0 Winner and his 12th goal of season in Austrian 2nd, ends up in top 10 scorer. But not enough for Polten for promotion. Wonder what's next in Summer for him???

    -From Die Bayern-Woche, @kerry_hau
on 05 CB Buchmann=Buchmann is raised to the pros and given a professional contract. The old sporting leadership had negotiated this. The contract is to run for 3 years.

on 05 AM/W Wanner=Paul Wanner is to be awarded.

on 05 AM/W Ibrahimovic=Arijon Ibrahimović could stay, train with the pros and gain match practice with the U19s or the amateurs. He hasn't made a decision yet.

03 GK Schenk might get loaned out (he really should) and if he is than 04 GK Hulsmann will become Bayern #3 GK.

how stupid is this club? In what world should Ibrahimovic even step foot in U19 again? Seriously never seen such obsessed clubs than in Germany with U19, its disturbing. And then they go after youth with pro experience while obsessed with U19 to last second. If Ibrahimovic decides to waste his time at Bayern, should be II/RL. And also just highlights why Bayern is a dumb and useless club and why join it, is stupid as ********. Integration doesn't exist, its a loan army club. Imagine they spend $30M on Tel and even he is a loan candidate, LULZ.

    -Next up 06 RB Moreira
That's why St. Pauli's youth boss Benjamin Liedtke is very happy: "His development is closely linked to FC St. Pauli. Eric is from the area, doesn't live far from the stadium, started with us in the children's teams and went all the way through our youth section."

And further: "He has even taken the step into the U19 and has been showing stable performances for years. So I'm not surprised by his strong performances at the European Championships."

The German-Portuguese only celebrated his 17th birthday in May, but is already part of the U19 squad at St. Pauli. One thing is already clear: If his development continues at such a rapid pace, the path should quickly lead to the second division professionals.

DFB.de: Congratulations on the European title! If you had to summarize the tournament briefly, how would it sound?

Christian Wück: If you win the European title in the end, then of course you have to be very satisfied. At the moment I'm still in this mode personally because you can't really grasp what has happened in the past three weeks. All the preparations, the analysis of the opponents and our players - everything paid off. So we are completely happy.

DFB.de: During the course of the tournament, your team scored a particularly large number of goals and repeatedly turned games around. Was that the key to success or something else?
Wück: The most important thing was the belief that we could do it. I didn't tell the guys in the welcome speech that we can do it, I said we will do it. Words like that always sound careless, but there was really a deep trust in the team in the coaching staff. We knew that with the quality of the squad, the special skills and the different personalities of the players, we had the potential to beat any team. When we show our skills on the pitch, it's hard for any other team to beat us.

DFB.de: Looking back, were there any players who particularly surprised you with their performances?
Wück: First of all, I would like to pay the whole team a big compliment. We had some who played less than they might have expected. But they also gave 100 percent in every minute of the game. I would like to highlight my two captains. Noah Darvich and Paris Brunner led the team with their performances in an exemplary manner. They kept the group together and kept influencing them when things weren't going well. For me personally, the performance of defender Finn Jeltsch, who was consistent over the entire six games, was outstanding. He was an important part of our defence, although he doesn't play in the central defender position at the club.

DFB.de: The team beat the strong French twice at the European Championship. Once in the group stage and then in the final. How did you do it?
Wück: It wasn't just France that we had as strong opponents. We've already won against the English and Spanish with this vintage and kept up very well. We had Spain on the brink of defeat in the qualifying round. So we knew that we could keep up with any top nation in terms of talent. In the end, luck was also part of it, that it even worked out twice against the French. Because France could have won the final because we didn't take our chances. If you look at the entire course of the tournament, in my opinion the best team deserved to win.

DFB.de: How was the celebration after winning the title?
Wück: Completely different. Some went to a party, some stayed seated at the banquet and drank another wine or a beer, others went to bed early. This also shows how different the characters are in the team and also in the functional team. Everyone enjoyed the moment in their own way. What we have succeeded in doing, we have not succeeded in 14 years now. There were tears in the eyes of some, both the players and the functional team, because a long-cherished wish was fulfilled.

DFB.de: The European Championship was the highlight of the three-year phase in which you supported the team as head coach. How would you summarize the development from start to finish?

Wück: What we ultimately achieved with this year can become a prime example for training in Germany. In my opinion, all youth coaches in Germany should be viewed differently in terms of their status. It's incredibly important that we have very well-trained coaches in the youth field who can also deal with the players. Because in youth football, especially in the U15 to U17 areas, it must not be about winning. It's about nothing more than training and developing the players. In any case, the result should not come first. We didn't win two games in a row with this 2006 vintage until the qualifying round. We didn't manage to continuously call up the same performance within a very short time. Still, we were always happy with the way the lads played because we knew things were going in the right direction. That's the point that matters to me: players need time to develop. The task of the coaching team is to draw the right conclusions from defeats. Consciously or unconsciously, we managed to get everything straight to the point at the European Championships. It was the first time the boys were able to win all games in a row at once.

DFB.de: The whole team was honored during the half-time break of the DFB Cup final in the Olympiastadion Berlin by DFB President Bernd Neuendorf, sporting director Rudi Völler and national coach Hansi Flick. How did you experience that?

Wück: I think it was something very special for everyone. As a player, I was in the DFB Cup final myself, but unfortunately I was injured at the time. It feels great to be down on the pitch in the sold out Olympiastadion. The honor was the icing on the cake of this European Championship success. So we were all excited about the opportunity to be there for the cup final and to be the center of attention for five minutes.

he's a M at club and funny thing, everywhere one goes, people listed him as one of best CBs in tourney and he's not even a real CB, LULZ. Its something we discussed pre-tourney that only real CBs in squad are Dal and Odogu that's it.

Important and good news about Darvich. I bet he'll play 3rd Liga/II next season and might get 1-2 caps in 1st team next season.

International scouts follow the vintage with interest
Such achievements arouse interest: youth tournaments are not only attended by youth football aficionados, but above all by the scouts of the big clubs. Even before the tournament, there were murmurs about Darvich, who was born the son of a French-Iraqi language school headmaster in Freiburg, and the interest of FC Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Bayern is guaranteed. He confirmed the reputation that precedes him in Budapest with six points. "Especially with Noah, I'm not worried," said Wück. "I know that he wants and has to do his Abitur next year - in Freiburg," says Wück. "He feels very, very comfortable there, and my information is that SC Freiburg has also found solutions that make him sporty happy."

I keep saying, show me 1 country in the world that does this, LMAO
The reference to the Abitur is no coincidence. When it comes to training young people, Wück is not only concerned with Buchwald, but also with books. The DFB team was accompanied by two teachers at the tournament: "During this European Championship, the boys had to write 16 exams that they would have had to take at school under normal circumstances." Wück did not yet know the results of the tests on Saturday. But he sounded like there was a chance of success in that regard, too.

    Wuck>>>>>>Kuntz
"We have decided that we want to send a signal to the Germans, but above all to the other nations: that it is incredibly difficult to win against Germany," Wück said in an interview in Berlin before his team went into the half-time break of the cup final was honored. It was therefore not only important to Wück to have won the European Championship. The circumstances were even more important to him: "Not only did we play a very good tournament, but we overcame obstacles in every game - except perhaps in the 4-0 win against Portugal." Also in the final: The victory was successful, although Noah Darvich, captain and tenth of the team, missed the first penalty. You have to overcome such a setback in such a situation, said Wück: "We have won many, many games through our struggle, through will, through our virtues." The coach found that all the more remarkable as he was instructing a generation that "didn't know any more" about all these things.

Wück has been working with the now triumphant vintage for almost three years, and it has always been important to him to "keep instilling in the young players what the Germans stand for abroad". What is that? "That we never give up, that we stick together, always believe in ourselves - and don't lose this belief until the last minute." In recent years, that has "got a bit lost" in youth football, believes Wück, because only "technical elements" and "the beautiful game" have been in the foreground.

    Let's GOOO.
What the 02-03 2025 U21 Euro Pool Currently looks like.

-GK=Atubolu (1BL #1 next season), Gebhardt (Unknown after 3rd Liga #1 loan), Schreiber (2BL #1 loan until 2024), Urbig (2BL #1 on loan but will return to Koln and be reloaned to new club, it seems), Schenk (loan candidate), Ernst (potential to become 2BL Hertha #1), Gorka (2BL bench GK), Schulz (will he become likely relegated to 3rd Liga AB #1 next season), Krumrey (Austrian 2nd #1, can't play there forever), Schulze (will Wolfsburg loan him out), Adamczyk (looking like 2BL bench with Osnabruck next season), Sauter (Should become 3rd Liga #1 next season), Noll (Hoffenheim rated and part of 1st team), Brull (signed pro contract with Gladbach), Wienand (3rd Liga bench GK), Braune (3rd Liga bench GK who could become #1 if V.Muller leaves), Bordner (3rd Liga bench GK who could become #1 if Voll leaves), Ostrzinski (3rd Liga bench GK aka Dortmund II), Kruth (Unknown future after his impressive 2BL XI debut, wants more chances), Hagemoser (close in 2BL 1st team drifts between #2-3)

-LB=Netz (1BL), John (confirmed 1BL return after 2BL loan), Brown (2BL), Herold (looking like 2BL or Austrian 1st next season), Calhanboglu (2BL)

-CB=Dardai (Either 1BL or 2BL with Hertha), Schmidt (1BL), Oermann (Unknown after Austrian 1st loan), Atemona (Belgian 1st), Mbi (Unknown after 2BL loan), Fofana (2BL loan until 2024), Lawrence (2BL loan until 2024), Riedel (1BL promotion), Siebert (Returns to 2BL from 3rd Liga loan), Kleine-Bekel (2BL pro contract that kicks in Summer 2023, made debut in last matchday), Dietz (signed pro contract at 2BL and started to breakthrough towards end of season, also DM), Donner (signed 2BL pro contract this month), Beifus (currently in 2BL but unknown future, Pauli wants to extend)

-RB=Rosenboom (2BL Summer 2023 transfer), Hofmann (2BL, signed extension and supposed to be contender next season for 1st team)

-M=Martel (1BL), Rohl (1BL), Wagner (Unknown but might go on loan since II=3rd Liga, would be 2BL-1st Abroad loan), Rhein (Unknown after Austrian 1st loan), Castrop (Unknown after 2BL loan), Salifou (Unknown if 1BL or loan), Reitz (Unknown after 1 and a half years on Belgian 1st loan), Krahn (2BL), Consbruch (2BL), Sterner (2BL), Breithaupt (2BL, linked with 1BL transfer),

-AM/W=Thielmann (1BL), Lemperle (1BL), Egloff (1BL), Knauff (1BL), Nebel (2BL loan until 2024), Scott (Belgian 1st), Kehrer (Belgian 1st), Wehmeyer (Eredivisie Promotion), Nankishi (Unknown does he go Eredivisie Promotion or forced on another loan due to injury issues), Sieb (2BL), Kehl (2BL Summer Transfer), Gunther (Unknown after 2BL loan, also LB), Obuz (Unknown following 2BL loan), Rossmann (2BL), Momuluh (2BL),

-CF=Beier (confirmed 1BL return after 2BL loan), Woltemade (confirmed 1BL return after 3rd Liga loan), Asllani (Either 1BL or 2BL-1st Abroad loan), Scherhant (Either 1BL or 2BL with Hertha), Kastanaras (Either 1BL or 2BL-1st Abroad loan), Shuranov (Israel 1st Summer transfer), Nischalke (2BL)

Of course this is incomplete list of players as one has
-Duh, the 02-03 has had mass poaching from other countries so like of Tillman, Samardzic, Vidovic, Matanovic, Gedikli etc are NO LONGER options
-players listed above could end up on loan in Summer
-Not every player on loan is listed as its even less known what's next for that specific List.
-players that are part of 1BL-2BL 1st teams but outside regular matchday squads, I didn't list. Some of those have like 1-2 pro caps too. Unknown what's next. Or like 03 CB Luhrs has like 4 XI in 2BL but H96 might dump him on 3rd Liga loan....even though he impressed, excuse too many CBs at club.
-also didn't list some of the pro contracts, why list any 2BL HR pro contracts when that club doesn't integrate. In fact, entire list is made of players who were regulars.
-also didn't list players from RL/II close to 1st teams who knows if they breakthrough or get loan dumping. For example, would be shocking if Bayern II's Bruckner doesn't go to 2BL-1st Abroad in Summer. But better to wait for official announcement for that specific list
-also who knows about 3rd Liga-RL non-II players who could end up higher. A 02 M Kerber of 3rd Liga Saarbrucken gets linked with 1BL-2BL for example and has been linked higher for more than a year now.
-not gonna list any non 1BL-2BL-1st Abroad unless its GKs.

I'm curious to see what the list looks like come September 1, 2023. How many from list above will be taken out if they end up in 3rd Liga loan/transfer and how many get added.

concerning the 2006 Age Group U17 Euro Squad ONLY, things are starting to progress
-confirmation by Schalke boss about=06 RB Bulut and 06 M Ouedraogo
-confirmation by Germany U17 boss Wuck=that Freiburg is planning with 06 AM/W Darvich
-seems all but confirmed by Pauli boss=06 RB/W Moreira
-confirmed this season with pro contract at 1BL Mainz=06 CB Dal

That's already 4 from the XIs.

-Jeltsch, would be shocked if 2BL FCN doesn't plan with him but given his performances he might have tons of interest. Will be curious if made perm into CB or back into M.
-Kabar, Herrmann, Brunner=hard to guess at 1BL Dortmund. For now, I assume that Kabar and Brunner are the ones with best shot from the 3. Brunner for one has been confirmed by some at Dortmund who work at club that he's a 1st prospect. Kabar, club would be fools if they bother with bang average Aning/Bueno when they have him at club and he'll be in U19 next season too.
-Harchaoui=with Koln+Baumgart who knows. That coach will make up a million and one excuse to not play his own youth.
-Moerstedt=I do think he's likely next CF at Hoffenheim after Beier/Asllani.
-Schmitt=GK at Bayern, not gonna happen until he bails. Shown to be pretty good PK GK and outside of his goal conceded against France in GS, none of the rest were his fault.

this post is only about the XI. I added Bulut because he's been confirmed by boss. Also Bulut and Ouedraogo both signed prelude to pro contracts like a few months ago anyways, so club was always high on them.

I am very pleased to hear this from Wück, we have much better chance of success without getting back more of the traditional German fighting mentality and utilising our strengths not copying Spain.

I mean that is way too much public criticism to make of a young player, wtf is that supposed to achieve? If a player has weaknesses in his game why not work on them privately no need to trash him in the media.

Talking of 1860, hopefully Morgalla gets a move upwards this summer.

he's full of shit because there are numerous CFs who breakthrough even with a meh header game and improve later. He sounds like a coach who wants ready made players no integration, given his ranting its clear he doesn't want to integrate and hoping for transfers in Summer.

even more glaring is why complain about this as if he didn't have like 2 months before the new season where he can work with him on improving.

I understand if he said this during season and why he doesn't integrate him but saying this after season was over.....WTF.

at this point, why would Ouro-Tagba with 2023 contract even extend with the club? He's better off running away. If a coach shits on you for every single thing, why didn't he score 15 goals in U19 why didn't he score in II, why this and that. He's listing a million and one excuses to write him off. Would be a fool to extend.

I also hope Morgalla goes up in Summer, will be question of which cheapstake German club will be willing to spend couple of millions?

so if one did top 2 most talented AM/W per age group from 03-06.
-2003=Musiala and Wirtz, its a NO CONTEST and both already Senior NT. Case Closed, LOL.
-2004=I presume Gruda and Diehl....ironic that in U19 Euro Elite Round Qualifiers. Gruda was injured and then Diehl was wasted on bench for 3/3 matches for lesser players...yeah DFB style stupidity.
    -2005=I presume Wanner and Ibrahimovic
-2006=I presume Darvich although not sure yet about a 2nd name

from this list 2 are fixed XI in 1BL. Then the next 4 are starting to breakthrough 1BL although Wanner-Ibra might get loan dumping. Darvich seems like someone who will start to breakthrough next season in 1BL.

for 2004, the AM/W Pool looking like
-Gruda, has 2 1BL caps with 1BL Mainz and pro contract.
-Diehl, has 2 1BL caps with 1BL Koln. That he has 2024 contract and interest for poaching will only force Koln to do something with him. Always same story with Koln, they are at risk of losing players left and right because Baumgart is shit at integration.
-Damar, has 6 1BL caps with Hoff, including 1 XI. Already too good for RL. Also has pro contract.
-Frauendorf, has 2 caps for Liverpool 1st team including 1 XI but lets be honest, loan dumping is next
-Kade, after 4 1BL caps for Hertha, he bailed perm to Swiss 1st Basel where he's fixed in matchday squads, played a lot of XI, but needs to show better productivity.
-Kabadayi (also CF), has trained with Bayern 1st/friendlies. According to most recent reports, he wants to bail in Summer. Was linked out in Winter too. Some mention that he might have a clause in his contract that could allow him to bail in Summer. Has already impressed in RL too.
-Bamba, has trained/friendlies with Dortmund 1st team where he's impressed, also impressed in his 3rd Liga/pro debut. Will play 3rd Liga next season, everyone sees him as having potential with his physique, speed, dribbling etc just that he lacks finishing aka deadly finishing. I wouldn't mind if he emulates Knauff, plays X amount with Dortmund 1st then bail to another 1BL club. But for now focus should be on him breakingthrough Dortmund II, last few seasons, II has screwed over its own Academy players.
-Baur, jumped to Freiburg II/3rd Liga early over more U19 and has been confirmed to be seen as a 1st prospect. Has done well for a 1st season in pro footy.
-Kaygin, 1BL Mainz wanted to give him pro contract but rejected it for a potential Austrian 1st transfer
-Meisel, Schalke has extended his contract but starts in II/RL and will go from there. He has trained/friendlies with 1st team but will likely have to imprees in II.
-Oemichen, pro contract at 3rd Liga Dynamo and the club seems to want to integrate him
-Saliger, pro contract at 3rd Liga Dynamo.
-Aourir, has BS pro contract with 1BL Bayer cough homegrown rules cough. They should loan him out but when we see what this club did with 01 M Azhil and 03 M Ezeh which is nothing but training all season, not a good place to be.....
-Makaj, has trained/friendly with Frankfurt 1st team, recently extended to start in II. Lucky him, II got promoted to RL after 1 season so will avoid 5th division.
-Widmann, has a 2023 contract, unknown future, although scored on his RL debut for Stuttgart II. I would assume that if he was used in II in May that it means he's stickin around
-Schwarz, unknown where next, looks to have potential but also looks pretty short/lacking physically
-Meier, has done preseason with Wolfsburg 1st team in past 2 seasons but that's NOT an integeration club and no II, so new club in Summer.
-Wagbe, left Wolfsburg U19 and joined 2BL Kiel with pro contract
-Niehoff, has 2BL pro contract with Kiel that kicks in Summer 2023, has done well in RL vs adults

and whoever else I'm missing, I'm sure I'm missing some. We also lost a promising AM/W in Tohumcu who got shifted to CM too.

so far looking like Gruda, Diehl, Damar, Frauendorf, Kade are the ones with debuts from 1BL/EPL clubs. Baur, Kabadayi, and Bamba seem not too far off. Niehoff also looks interesting too. One of the reasons why I feel like Gruda and Diehl might be the most interesting potential wise is due to the potential explosive type players that they give you, which isn't a common German trait. When Germany U19 played Portugal and Spain, Gruda was technically/dribbling the best player on the field vs both teams. Even when Mainz U19 won U19 title vs Dortmund everyone including Dortmund fanboys called him and Weiper "REAL TOP TALENTS" too.

for example Frauendorf is pretty raw player that is boosted by physique. Damar has very good technical skills but he's not explosive type. Kade feels a mix of a more classical W. Kabadayi has interesting package but his dribbling requires space to function and still not sure he's a W long term and not CF. Bamba could become something if he can start putting the ball in the back of the net. And list can go on and on.

I could make 2005 AM/W list but feels pointless and that Wanner-Ibra most promising is very likely tbh.

for 2006 AM/W I do feel like there are numerous interesting players that weren't even in U17 Euro squad. And one has to wait and see how they all do in U19 next season too.

-so 01 CF/W Dinkci is linked with 1BL Darmstadt, 2BL H96/FCK and Eredivisie loan. I honestly don't really care about him, let's be hones moment he does anything, he'll be poached by Turkey.

-update on 02 M Breitahaupt and issues aka money about 1BL Augsburg transfer.

-02 AM/W Scott won the Belgian 1st league, he won double in Belgium as also won Belgian Cup. Next season, really needs to breakthrough XI.

-An Update on 02 W Ennali who was on 3rd Liga loan. H96 is a club that really doesn't integrate anyone and just loan dumpings or out perm.
According to BILD information, the Reds are not planning to work with Ennali until the summer of 2024, despite their contract, and would be willing to let him go. But only with a buyback clause. An extension and another loan, on the other hand, should not be an option.

this shouldn't be legal, 14 and 15 y/o transfering? There needs to be a limit age to transfers. Going from Berlin to Dortmund and Berlin to Hoffenheim, that's not close.

Shouldn’t be allowed. Didn’t Bayern buy a 13 y/o from Gladbach and another kid and his brothers from Mainz? These are literally still children.

yeah and also Hertha Berlin too. Bayern got a SHIT TON of crap for these children transfers and there was a lot of media fuss about how unethical it is....

all of this just to win youth trophies but then none make 1st team, LOL.

02 CB Beifus stays in 2BL and moves to KSC. Let's be Honest, 2BL Pauli is a garbage club for youth and has been so for some years now.

SECOND NEW SIGNING FIX: MARCEL BEIFUS COMES FROM FC ST. PAULI
With the 20-year-old Marcel Beifus, Karlsruher SC expands the options in central defense.
Even during the supposed holiday season, the KSC task force around head coach Christian Eichner and managing director Michael Becker remains decisive.

Marcel Beifus was trained at VfL Wolfsburg, where he went through all the youth teams. The right-footed player made seven appearances in the second team in the Regionalliga Nord, each with one goal and one assist. There were also 20 competitive appearances in the Wolves U19s (5 goals, 1 assist) and 24 games in the U17s (10 goals, 2nd assist). Templates). The central defender played two games each for the German U19 and U17 youth teams. Most recently, Beifus played 9 games in the 2nd Bundesliga at FC St. Pauli. Including the last game of the first half of the season in the BBBank Wildpark, which KSC fans should still remember.

Head coach Christian Eichner has also had the central defender on his wish list ever since: “With Marcel Beifus we have a new signing in central defense who, despite his young age, has already been able to gain some experience in the league at St. Pauli. He signaled to us that he would like to accept the competition for this position with us. That's why we as a coaching team are very happy that Marcel has chosen us. We will continue to support his development at KSC. In terms of football, he brings a very interesting overall package.”

Marcel Beifus: "In the first half of the season against KSC, the coaching team noticed me. After that, contact was made. In addition, Paul Nebel only told me positive things about KSC. I'll do my best and try to play as much as possible."

Beifus signs a 2-year contract with KSC and will wear number 4 in the future.

Shame Freiburg didn’t make it, at least their youth prospects actually have a perspective at the club.

Although would have been funny seeing them play YL given how they were literally relegated this season.

yeah I wish Freiburg had made YL instead. This is why Germany doesn't do well in YL. The clubs who qualify for YL aren't the best youth clubs in Germany outside Dortmund who tends to do well. Bayern ups too many to II so rarely play with best squad in YL. Then Leipzig another regular with 0 prospects it isn't a club that will lure huge amount of top talents. So you end up with only Dortmund as regular who can manage to progress.

Just look at this, how is anyone supposed to breakthrough? Answer they aren't and won't. No II, no integration and club gives garbage loans too, assuming they loan you out and don't make you train all season with 1st and never play....

► Will more talent end up with the pros now? This is not to be expected. No youth players were used last season. In the previous season, 2021/22, only one: Laurenz Dehl (then 20) in the conference league playoff second leg in August 2021 against Kuopio (0-0) – for six minutes. Coach Urs Fischer (57) relies on experience. In 2022/23, the Köpenickers were the second-oldest team in the Bundesliga. Average: 28.28 years. Only Bochum was older: 29.11 years.

► Will there be another U23 soon? No. The team, then in the regional league, was abolished in 2015. When asked, Union says that there are no plans to field a team again.

A + article, curious to what it says.

BVB talent Brunner receives the Golden Shoe at the U17 European Championship "I will remember it forever"

He belongs to the quartet with the most goals at the U17 European Championship: Paris Brunner. Paris Brunner's achievements have now been praised by his proud BVB coach Mike Tullberg, who also emphasizes the German youth work.

Also looks like Brunner was in top 2 most dribbling per 90 in tourney.
