Great backtracking clean steal by LDLT ends a counter and starts a counter-counter, but ends with Aspas shooting wide of the far post.

Aidoo gets a second yellow for a somewhat cynical foul just outside the defensive box, and Celta will have to finish with 10 players. 78th minute.

Getafe bottom of the crossbar to goal line and out shot, keeping Celta's hopes alive, but 86th minute now. Truly wide open shot for Munir that Getafe fans will see in their dreams if they can't hold on here.

Full time and Getafe jump to equalize Valencia on points, and Celta blow a chance to pretty much clinch. LDLT did OK with a couple good moments, but like everyone else in the side, can't be that happy not having created an equalizer.

LDLT starts! Celta Vigo (13th) hosting Valencia (tied for 17th, just above the drop). [Musah on the bench for Valencia.]

Already 0-1 Valencia in the early going.

Luca subbed on in the 24th minute - seems like Beltran got injured. They fell behind 1-0 on a 5th minute Inaki Williams goal.

Luca with the secondary assist on the Celta Vigo goal - lays it wide left to the open man, who crosses it in for a looping header home by Strand Larsen.

However, they conceded again immediately after and trail 2-1.

Didn't start. On at the beginning of the 2nd half, w/ it still level at 0, at Cadiz, in this big relegation battler.

He's coming off a yellow card suspension, and 1 minute into this appearance, he trips over the back of a guy's feet for another yellow. lol He fouls a lot in this comp. A lot of aggression, often reckless.

Cadiz scores. 1-0 lead now. Well worked station-to-station switch, sidestepping pressuring defenders, and ultimately the finish.

Maybe you could find a little fault from LDLT dribbling backward instead of forward/passing, then offloading it to his teammate in the box, who could only clear so far. Not egregious and wasn't involved in defending.

Messy game to officiate. Almost as much confetti visible on the field as grass. And more and more players are throwing themselves to the ground to try and draw fouls.

Caught some of the game after LDLT came on. He was doing things the team needs (because others aren't doing it) but the team has lost the thread, frankly. I don't understand it.

Last 5 games for Celta: 4 losses, all by 1 goal, and one draw. Just 1 draw in there would have helped stave off relegation but things are looking down for Celta since they face Barca on the final day of the season and the way they show Celta in the table tells me first tiebreaker is wins, not goal differential, unfortunately for Celta.

Celta facing Barcelona with their destiny in their hands. A win guarantees staying up but there are too many permutations.

Kasey Keller in the analysts chair for ESPN+. Which team did he play for in Spain?

Frank Kessie puts in a scuffed shot from Lewa, but he was slightly offside and it’s not counted.

Angels in the Outfield for Celta so far. They should be down 2-0. Instead it's still scoreless.

Nice play, Oscar should've done better with that.

Celta go ahead 1-0. It's Gabri Veiga. Who else. Well, maybe Iago Aspas. This is really against the run of play. Barca should have been up 2-3 to 0 by now. But Celta had moments lately. They were growing.

It's all Celta now, and LDLT is right in the middle of it. And there's the goal!

Kessie turned into a turnover machine in the last couple of minutes. Dani Vega finally puts one in for Celta.

I don't see Valladolid scoring any time soon. Barcelona is itching for Ibiza, not really trying.
