Don’t think so. The club want to get rid all the unwanted players. But definitely will go after some reinforcements.
BREAKING 🚨 💣 : Real Madrid are going for Kai Havertz! (@FabrizioRomano) #CFC pic.twitter.com/5hR4nhi7CE— Pys (@CFCPys) June 3, 2023 🚨💣 Real Madrid want Havertz, NO MATTER who stays or leaves. @COPE #rmalive pic.twitter.com/BLm5gXIiq3— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) June 3, 2023
With the opening of the renovated SB, and the finances more predicable now Post-Covid, they are probably trying to revamp the depth of the squad. There was a lot of deadwood that had to go. Odriozola has one year left on his contract and is open to moving on according to reports. Looking at the attackers... Vini Benz Rodrygo Asensio->Havertz? Hazard->Brahim Marino->Joselu And there is a real possibility at going after Kane, which I don't believe is actually tied to Benzema. If Kane happens, it will be on the last day of August, and Benzema can't leave at the last moment like that.
🚨💣 Kai Havertz situation, according to @relevo:-Juni Calafat is his "No. 1 fan"-Florentino Perez is "in love with him"-Carlo Ancelotti "really likes him" pic.twitter.com/xYo7IywGlp— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) June 3, 2023 I’m all 3.
They should just tell him he will be training alone for next season and not part of the squad. Put the ball in his court whether he want to play elsewhere or wait it out.
‼️🇩🇪 Real Madrid value Havertz’s versatility, big game record in Europe and creative skills. @COPE pic.twitter.com/u2T4RUOSCm— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) June 3, 2023 🚨⚪️ JUST IN: Real Madrid are expected to sign THREE attackers this summer. @COPE pic.twitter.com/pb6MPaeMNP— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) June 3, 2023 Havertz, Brahim and Joselu if Benz stays, I guess.
It's so hard to judge any Chelsea player. Havertz has been playing out of position and the whole team has been shit, but not necessarily down to the individuals.
There is no point with Joselu in the squad now. Lets see if Castilla can get promoted to 2nd, otherwise a loan to a higher division will be needed. I would rather him play week in and week out somewhere else than sit on the bench at Madrid
Considering retirement…. Dude has been retired for 4 years now. Can’t believe it but finally we are dropping the dead weight. Not sure why we want Kai as I don’t get the love for the player but that’s just me. Anyway happy with the departures so far.
I still don't see how Havertz even makes this team. I mean we have three definite starters in Vinicius, Benzema and Rodrygo. We have many starters at midfield; Kroos, Modric, Camavinga, Valverde, Bellingham, Tchouameni... If it ain't Mbappe (Halaand is impossible) or Kane to replace Benzema it ain't moving the needle and it's needlessly expensive.
Realistically only Nacho and Marco had any resale value but both were in the last year of their contract so not really and not worth renewing to try and sell on. Plus it gives the ones that deserve it more leverage for their next contract like Nacho.
I'm loving the fact that all this is happening in the first week of June. Early business. Good planning.
This is how I make myself feel better about the whole situation. If Hazard was even half decent, 10 goals a season, usually available etc., then Vinicius would have likely stuck to the bench and his breakout season may not have happened. It did, Hazard flopped and we won La Liga and had the best and most epic Champions League run in the history of the competition.
