I know VAR gets the most shit these days, but imo the worst thing in the game right now is the application of the handball rule. Won’t get into details in case of spoilers, but a ball grazing across the fingertips of a leaping player who isn’t even looking that direction should NOT result in a penalty. And of course VAR being able to catch every innocuous ball-to-hand contact doesn’t help.

 

Thing is clubs, players and fans screamed to get VAR. Now they're getting it good and hard!
