Stones is starting at CB and moving into CM when they have the have possession isn't he? Keep the full backs back more and we can do the same

Southgate should check on Walker after his very late substitution and if he is a fitness doubt get someone else on standby or just called up anyway

Not until we can find an elite centre half like Ruben Dias. You need four quick mobile defenders to make that system work and, at the moment, we've got er, Harry Maguire.

Didn’t see him at right back at all today, mainly just in midfield alongside Rhodri and was immense imo.

They will be a lot of calls for him to do so. Maybe if Colwill has a good season next year and replaces Maguire as the starter it could be more likely.

Will Rashford turn up to the England camp or withdraw citing the injury he might have picked up today.

Yeah to be honest I agree with others saying that for England TAA would be the better fit for the inverted midfield role. Purely because we need Stones as a CB given our paucity of them. We simply don’t have the luxury of playing our only world class centre back out of position.

Absolutely, although from what I've seen of Brighton this year, it's been Colwill who has been playing the roving defender role. This more fluid and progressive defensive set up will certainly take us away from the tedious sideways passing that's been a feature of England's centre halves for years, but we need the right personnel to execute it.

If we're going to experiment with Trent, I'd prefer to see him play as a straight midfielder. He just leaves us too vulnerable defensively playing as an inverted full back and the top teams will exploit that for all its worth.

It will be interesting to see if Southgate does that with Bellingham out and possibly not replaced.

How on earth are you comparing Depp and Greenwood? There's far more evidence of Depp being abused than committing abuse. Greenwood is a rare case where we can be pretty certain that his behaviour was horrific with no guesswork involved.

So are we all agreed that Johny Depp will never play for England again?

It's sure looking that way. I can certainly see Jack Sparrow playing for Arrrrsenal though.

That’s ridiculous if it’s true! He’d rather stay in England just to break a goal scoring record that he will probably be also beaten in years to come. How sad if true than rather going to a club who wins trophies.

I am not at all surprised. He doesn’t strike me as someone who would settle in Madrid and it’s challenging for footballers culture.

So, who is it that is going to be telling media outlets that Kane’s preference is to break the PL goals record over going to a big foreign team? It’s just completely made up.

How do you come to that conclusion? He's not some young lad or a loner like Gareth Bale. He's a mature, level headed family man who I'd imagine would embrace the challenge of playing abroad with ease.

It's grim but I suppose if it's going to happen the last game of the season is the least worst time.
