Lerma's great if you play a system that largely doesn't demand a lot of progression/posession/passing or dribbling from your midfield. He pops up with a goal as a destroying 8, but he can't play as a lone 6 and has done well in largely relegation battling clubs who mainly defend and counter attack. Still not great for us.

he's 16, therefore im not paying too much attention to this guy yet however, keeping in mind that most top colombian players have developed at younger ages rather than older ages (as in during the ages of 21-23). I would say that he is probably decent to an extent. either way though, I don't think we'd hear much about this guy for at least several more years unless he's some kind of anomaly
this guy is really gifted, I just hope he goes to a team or a country where he can finish his development then we could enjoy a type of player that we normally dont have or produce in Colombia
James was playing frequently at the age of 18 and performing at a pretty high level but those kinds of guys are rare in colombia, maybe he's one of them. Who knows.
They are calling him the Colombian Mbappé on the social media I have seen. Heck, if he is half as good as him I will take it.

Brayan Caicedo is a BEAST. Very talented kid. Unfortunately the sub 17 did not qualify for that WC. There are a few kids on that team who would've turned some heads.
Who knows how he turns out but watching some highlights you actually can see the comparison in how he plays, his build and position. Kid is rapid, and attacks like Mbappe does from wide.
