We potentially won't see the true face of Straus' Bayern until the quarter-finals or so, I doubt they will struggle against many teams in the group stage namely because the gap in terms of quality is usually quite high there too.
NOPE without legit outside mids/wingers, this club’s not going to compete with the super clubs of recent years. The tougher the competition, the less likely Simon & Gwinn will be an influence on offense. And then still Bayern don’t have anywhere the depth like monsters WOB & Barca have. I think again a German striker will be sacrificed, so Schuller on the bench in favor of Harder—Magull starts at CAM again I thought GPV moving to Arsenal?—or was this just one of those dork upped rumors by soccerdonna website?
https://www.90min.de/posts/streit-mit-fc-bayern-dfb-wirft-munchnern-wortbruch-vor The German FA publicly accuses FC Bayern of breaking its word ahead of the Women's World Cup. Contrary to agreements made earlier this year, FC Bayern has decided not to release its players by June 20.

Sooooo... we're just pretending match day 1 of the UWLC didn't see Bayern's horrible no winger style struggle vs mighty Rosengard...? And we've clearly removed from memory, the awful match day 2 away performance that should have seen Bayern lose to Benfica, but instead somehow saw them stumble their way to a shocking late win... In a European cup competition that's been defined by it's best teams being able to transition effectively out wide, Bayern's football this season often looked old/out of place compared to rivals. And should Straus now go all in on his preferred 3-5-2, I honestly wouldn't be so confident in Bayern's hopes for the group stage... Seriously... all it takes is a draw featuring strong 1st and 3rd seeds in Bayern's group, and things could get very interesting lol...
I actually agree with you when mentioning the lack of genuine width in Straus possession based system, potentially holding this team back from genuinely progressing beyond being more than a quarterfinalist. But when it comes to the topic of depth, when you potentially have internationals like Lohmann, Magull, Rall, Gwinn, KLV, Naschenweng, stuck on the bench alongside young prospect Kett, returning Dallmann, and Bragstad, Kerr, Hansen... THERE'S NO EXCUSES! The idea Bayern lack depth is complete nonsense lol.
This might happen... but seeing how Harder typically prefers the CAM position, has me believe Straus will use her as a false #9 within a 3-5-2. Straus not getting the best from Magull, and completely ignoring KLV, I don't see him dropping Bühl, or Schüller, but if the 3-5-2 happens, I could defiantly see him continue to ignore the traditional options for the CAM role in favour of providing Harder a central position. Talking about potential transfers... I see Roord is still twerking for continued attention from Barca; this week describing her eternal love for the Spanish club.... This all getting very embarrassing now... and honestly should just be settled by Wolfsburg letting Roord leave for a transfer fee after the UWCL final.

Leverkusen sign a 27yo Norwegian international winger, who's joined them from UWCL qualifier Rosengard... This isn't normal Leverkusen behaviour.. I'm concerned lol.
Bayern as champion is in pot 1. The strongest possible group would be Bayern, PSG, Juventus/Real Madrid and Manchester United.
They might struggle against weaker opposition like Rosengard but they will almost never be in a position to actually lose against such teams, that's my point. They will have actual challenges in the knockout stage.
I thought you'd reply to this lol, as I couldn't be bothered to check the seeding, and knew as soon as I posted that my placing of Bayern was flawed, as I forgot Bayern would be 1st, not 2nd, simply based on them wining the league this season. However... if Bayern did get PSG, and one of Juve/Real Madrid, in their UWCL group, I'd still be very cautious about the chances of Bayern to qualify for the quarterfinals...
But 4 teams are in the group... I'd use a match Vs the worst team as an example, as it perfectly highlighted a counter argument to the idea Bayern somehow immune to any potential future group stage failure. I mean, a season the UWCL demonstrated tougher competition will now exist amongst it's teams, a poor Rosengard would genuinely expose a key flaw in the Straus belief of using narrow attackers, while a better but still unheralded Benfica would also find themselves incredibly unlucky not to take any points from Bayern too. So I'm pretty convinced Bayern will face some kind of tougher challenges before they can even contemplate thinking about the competitions knockout stage..
Face tougher challenges ok perhaps but I think we can all agree that it's highly improbable that they will struggle to get out of almost any group.
