I don't get selling to rivals? It's just counterproductive to the ultimate goal if you think about it
Bob Paisley and Bill Shankly before him used to do that quite a lot but only when they were sure he was almost in his last legs, even if it wasn't obvious yet that he was.
That was my point initially, why strengthen your oposition? As for selling players that have past their best, that's another story
I think Ox will blossom with Klopp. He has the pace and engine you need in our game. But it will take a bit of time. But you can't teach pace and he has that.
If he's just half as good as Ray, he'll do. He, the Ox is one of the arse better players, always does a good job with Englaland as well.

always loved the guy's heart and attitude. he gave us some great memories. I really hope he lands in a good spot and has a decent career moving forward.
Injuries Despite being blighted by injuries Ox has had a successful career that many other players will likely be envious of.
I'm not fully sure but I think maybe this left out some important factor of our team that year which Klopp had better envisaged....
