Like I said a couple of weeks ago, my feeling is that Carlo speaking about being here next season and the club supporting him is all posturing over some financial matter around compensation for letting him go. I don't believe he'll be here next season and Xabi is probably already the chosen one.

Zidane is right there in Madrid and the team is refreshed with his preference of midfielders (Fede, Cama, Tchou and especially Jude).

We go for Firminho over Kane and it's seems that would be a lock because Benzema would be protected.

Then that would lead credence to Mbappe going against his mom and Qatar next summer to join a pretty stacked young squad (as Benzema, Modric, Kroos and some others exit).

Yea, I would prefer ZZ as well with the amount of talents in our midfield. It might be too early for Xabi. I'd also welcome Zidane's pragmatism after Carlo ditched his Italian roots and gave us hell line up without DM in Manchester.

It's also not mine even though it's saying the exact same thing. :D

Although quite honestly, doesn't take a genius to deduce this at this point.

Carlo is just too comfortable here, he is chilling with his homies and has no particular needs or desires about the squad. I don't think he leaves unless hes fired unfortunately.

Carlo's idea of designing a team is a starting midfield of Kroos and Modric lol.

We all know who designs the squad at RMCF and it's not the manager :ROFLMAO:

All of these transfer rumours about which striker we're going to get don't make sense if the manager position is still up in the air. Florentino needs to resolve this issue first and then based on the manager's concept look for the replacement for Benzema.

This is why its hard for me to go batshit over the fact that we're apparently willing to spend the same money on Kane which could get us Osimhen, who is the best striker on the planet together with Haaland. I feel with Ancelotti and the current personnel on the pitch, Kane could be the better fit.

But if a new exciting tactical oriented manager takes the helm from Carlo, it should be him who decides whether he wants Kane or Osimhen or Goncalo or whoever else. We shouldn't be deciding on the striker without being certain about the manager.

Who said the managers position is up in the air?

Both the club sources and Carlo himself said he’d continue next season.

Club isn’t putting out an official statement for the people on RMBS lol

Of course Carlo is staying. Won the double last season and won three trophies this season.

Some should just be grateful lol

I was wondering when people are going to forget about the actual performances of the team and the manager in particular this season culminating with that Man City humilation, and there it is.

Another season of Carlo ball (if you can even call it that) would be hard to watch. The team is tragic tactically.

Yeah, because we are the only team that got canned by City this season.

Carlo can take next season for me. Nobody better out there available, sorry.

They are a collaboration of people that don't belong to the ownership group, that holds about 84% of the shares i think. The ownership has an overwhleming amount of power, so they are trying to make sure the smaller shareholders have an opinion and a voice. A valid case, which is the opposite of this:

They're basing their case around an Ancelotti statement that the entire stadium was elling racist abuse at Vinicius, and their point is "prove to us that every single person in the stadium did this or retract your statement".

    Such a waste of time.

Indeed, they could spend that time helping to identify and supporting the banning of the supporters who did yell racist stuff but……. Priorities I guess

I’m not convinced Carlo should be here next season.
Lost the league too early. Too many games which the team didn’t look good and concede many goals. Last season he faced very bad Barcelona who was 8th place and with Kouman as a coach.
