Don't know about Adams but Zendejas played and scored a nice goal yesterday so he's back. Guessing Adams is very close sin Malik and a few others are not on the list. Roldan is on it though and is having concussion problems so apparently it wasn't GB who always had him on the roster but he has some secrets on US Soccer itself.
I fell asleep during the game and only woke up at the very end to hear that Morris went down. He was walking around comfortably at the end of the game. How'd the injury look in real time?
Pomykal injured Edwin Cerrillo back in the midfield alongside Facu Quignon & Tsiki Ntsabeleng. Paxton Pomykal out for a few weeks with a recent quad injury.Maarten Paes still out with the injury he picked up against Vancouver last week, Maurer starts in his place. https://t.co/6k48kCWBW0— Garrett Melcer (@GarrettMelcer) May 28, 2023 Not going to matter for Nations League since I don’t think he’s going anyways, but maybe impacts his chances of going to the Gold Cup.
Zack Steffen revealing on Instagram that he had a notable injury and will be out of the Nations League roster for the #USMNT. Ugh again for a class act guy. Link: https://t.co/UAom42GBBN pic.twitter.com/TbT4DOUtUf— The Whole Delivery (@TWDTV1) June 1, 2023
Zimmerman and Acosta have also been dealing with injuries as well. Might impact their spot on the roster today. Steffen definitely out for the summer now.

We seem to always have a bunch out now. I think it's more common for every national team now as there really are too many games. We also have more depth so it doesn't hurt as much unless it's one of our top 5ish players (Adams right now).
This report from Belgium says Mark McKenzie suffered a dislocated shoulder in Genk's last match of the season. He doesn't need surgery but the report paints a questionable picture over his possible #USMNT Gold Cup involvement. https://t.co/mxRfbBUf8l— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) June 7, 2023
Terrible news if true 1668137781749506050 is not a valid tweet id 🚨 Tyler Adams apparently has a tendon rupture and could be sidelined for another 3-4 months. Likelihood that he stays at Leeds and wouldn’t be sold as a result 😬 (per @leedsthat) #USMNT 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/WSRzMEyGMP— 🇺🇸 USMNTvsHaters (@USMNTvsHaters) June 12, 2023
Adams is always injured, we lucked up with the WC, but should accept that he will be out most of the time, and build the team based on that assumption.
Well the same thing happened last cycle where he was injured the first year of the cycle, had an injury in 2021, and managed to be healthy for pretty much all of qualifying and the World Cup itself. Let's just hope his moments of health come for the Copa America and World Cup.
Can I get some help to update our injured players? Gio Reyna - is he out for a while or was his injury just a knock? (Calf?) Tyler Adams - did he have a setback? (Hamstring?) Malik Tillman - is he back? Eryk Williamson - will he return this MLS season? (ACL) Daryl Dike - will he return before end of year? (Achilles) Mark McKenzie - how long is he supposed to be out? (Collarbone?) Tim Ream - how long will he be out? (Shoulder?) Cameron Carter-Vickers - October? (Knee) Miles Robinson - unknown. Kobi Henry - unknown Zack Steffen - knee. Return unknown Ethan Horvath - ??? Paul Arriola - ??? Josh Sargent - ??? Anyone else???
I'm pretty sure that Tim Ream broke his arm--not shoulder related. He should be back in time for regular pre-season training. The caveat being that really old people have brittle bones and heal slowly (this is a joke).
Pretty sure the Adams report was not true. Miles Robinson is day to day. I think Sargent, Horvath, CCV, McKenzie, and Malik Tillman should be good to go by the start of their seasons. The only report on Reyna was post game when someone on US Soccer said it was a bruise so doesn't seem more serious than that. Also out is Paxton Pomykal and Acosta and Tim Tillman are both questionable. More broadly this is a good resource for the MLS guys (and updated regularly) https://www.mlssoccer.com/news/mlssoccer-com-injury-report
For anyone who has ever had to wear a cast in the summer, man, that sucks to have to workout outside in the middle of the heat with that thing on.
FWIW, there is this from Leeds Live for tomorrow's friendly. "With Marc Roca on his way out and Tyler Adams injured, the Whites are short on senior faces to play in the middle of the park against the Red Devils..." https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/leeds-united-manchester-united-chances-27297907 Maybe Leeds are just keeping him under wraps until transfer window closes
