0-0 Draw with Klopas in charge. Reminds me of 2012 all over again! A point on the road is *usually* a good thing but TFC? C'mon man.

EDIT: BRADY MOTM!!!!!!! HE KEPT US IN THAT ONE WITH LIFE AND LIMB. Put his career on the line for the club.

It's not like TFC has been losing at home. We should be happy we drew a game we never really threatened in.

A tie on the road that feels like a bit of a loss- if there was a truly “winnable” game on our road trip, this was it. Not sure about how Klopas managed this game - are we resting players or not? Shaq was gassed and we lost our starting keeper for at least this game, Guti didn’t start but Kei did (again), our youngest starting field player was the first subbed out - not sure what the plan was but we have FCC this weekend and last I saw the Feds were up toward the the top of standings so the odds of a result there with a team stretched as thin as us seem low.

Formation change doesn’t make sense for our talent and it showed in the first half. The second half sub helped a little but you have to wonder if we wouldn’t have fared better subbing out Kei instead. I get it, options are limited, but again, TFC has sucked shit this year and while they have been tough at home, they were definitely beatable. All of that said- a point on the road is always welcome, but ******** was that a tough watch.

Well as dull as that was, I'm going to go find this CONCACAF Champions League Final leg one starting in 11 minutes. I hope I can find it? It's probably on one of the Spanish language channels in Chicago such as Telemundo or Univision...I *think* I have Fox Sports still from the World Cup but only because I can't figure out how to cancel it until my credit card expires.

TFC have lost 1 regular season home match this season, they're not winning games but they're certainly not losing either. I expected a tough game, likely a loss, very happy with the point. I expect TFC to climb mid table by September.

For what it's worth, FCC started Vazquez, Acosta and Barreal. They may be gassed too with this "Midweek May" to make room for Leagues Cup.

I was looking at Houston's schedule and they have a lot of travel leading up to their match with us. Vancouver (5/31) to St. Louis (6/3) to Chicago (6/6).

I am happy with the road point given all of the matches, injuries, people coming back from injuries, yellow card accumulation.

Frank needs to change it up a little. I think he is riding the wave a bit with this 3 CB stuff. It has been working, but there was very little going forward tonight.

With this league, who knows where anyone will be in September, but it's hard to argue that TFC wasn't beatable tonight. I am not unhappy with the point, to be completely fair, but I can't say it's satisfactory, especially with us not scoring a goal.

The fact that we did not concede a goal would make one think that the changes we made resulted in a stellar defensive performance, but we all watched the same game and I think we know that it was nothing more than dumb luck, good situational goaltending (from Richey too - which is a plus!), and complete and utter ineptitude on the part of TFC that kept the ball out of the back of our net, and on top of that, our offense regressed quite a bit tonight to the point of being almost non-existant.

True, but it's gotta even out some time for us, no? There have been plenty of games we deserved to win, but tied or deserved to tie, but lost. I wouldn't mind deserving to lose, but winning every so often!

I mean, it's kind of our own fault because of the formation and player selection, but when you put it like that, you're 100% correct and I can't argue. At this point, I really don't care about the FCC game, just hope we can get past Houston in the Open Cup.

What is going with Omsberg that he isn't getting playing time at CB (or at all)? I'll admit that the past two games Burks hasn't been horrible, but you'd think Omsberg would get more garbage minutes with this level of congestion if nothing else.

Road poutn is nice but we are not making any movement in the table. Hope we can steal a point in Cincy and then we need to win at home. Same issue as last year(s). Can't wait until late summer to start winning. Very blah game today. Brady is fantastic

    We played tired.
TFC’s DPs were a handful, in particular Bernadeschi.
Our 3-4-3 struggled in the central midfield against their 4-3-3
Our offense was toothless. 1 SOT
Fede looks to be taking the ‘card collector’ crown from Herbers.
With the exception of the spill that led to his face laceration, Brady played what might be his best minutes this season.
Burks played his best minutes this season.
Shaqiri, Gaston, and Rafa played decent, but uninspired…tired.

They had 19 shots, 7 on target and we had 7 saves. So satisfied-ish with the road point.

Hoping we play a heavy rotation against CIN and aim for our best performance against Houston on Tue

Bezerra & Oregel are the two players you'd want to start. They're both hurt.
