Sarina seems happy to pick her again and she was always great on the media things. Don’t think that is an issue. She has worked very hard for this squad place.

She has 12 goals in 12 matches for a weak team is very good. Had she moved to Spurs in the summer on that form she would have been challenging Daly for the Golden boot.

Very surprised they see her as a full back. She’s nothing but a CB for me (and a good one at that).

    We’re the favourites still.

Hopefully that’s the shite performance out the way and I don’t want to say it, but Millie is more crucial than Leah right now. Leah is a bit lightweight and looked leggy.

Team will be fit and refreshed for the tournament.

Otherwise, I’ll root for England and the US if we don’t win it.

She was usually used as a full back at Brighton but I don’t think she will anytime soon at Man United.

I’d pick England just for the nominative determinism.

Are we? I know we beat the US in a friendly, but I wouldn't bet against them winning it once again, especially given the unfortunate injury absences and surgery recoveries we have.

No one called Le Tissier has a chance of being selected much for England... even if she isn't related.

The 23 players selected doesn’t seem as strong as last year’s Euro squad—-obviously due to major injuries like Kirby, Williamson & Mead. Wiegman’s an excellent ‘tourney’ & will put her squad into intense, camp training.

what I don’t understand is not picking more players from Man Uwho had such an excellent season?—-Russo, Toone Zelem made it, but other legit’s like Galton, Le Tessier, Blundell. Turner didn’t.

does Wiegman have some kind of problem or even vendetta against MU?—

Galton would probably have been there but she doesn’t have any interest in international football.

I think it's a mental health thing for her going from what she says. She needs time away from the sport to feel happy.

Blundell has never really been deemed good enough by the past three coaches. That is even with being able to play a role that has been a weakness for England.

Galton is competing with James, Hemp, Kelly etc. Even if she’s available I doubt she makes it.

Centre back is probably the most controversial but Wiegman weirdly sees Le Tissier as a full back. Still the CB’s selected are pretty strong. Comes down to preference.

Sophia Poor who impressed in goal at the U17 finals has announced she is leaving Leicester. Interested to see where she ends up.

feels stronger upfront then in the back, since currently Bright & Bronze still hurt/not sure if Wubben-Moy, Charles & Carter would start at club level if their respective clubs weren’t decimated by injuries

upfront; lot of noteworthy players didn’t make it(Galton, Parris, Park, Salmon), so with Beth E instead, got the feeling Daly will be moved back once again to FB

Good to see Bronze starting. A lot of the predicted lineups were she would be on the bench because of just being back from injury.

Not the best start for Bronze intercepted and Barca concede.

Bronze and Walsh win the UWCL. Bronze struggled quite a bit in spells but the game time will do her good.

There is actually more time from today till Haiti than from when she got injured. It’s Mille Bright who is the main concern.

I've noticed half the Ireland women's team are born in the US. Pretty sad
