He's a good manager. It would be interesting to see how he would fare in Italy. He's probably the closest thing out there to another Klopp.
Can he speak Italian? It's important. Also, in history, only 2 German coaches have ever managed in Italy.. Alexander Blessin who coached Genoa from January to December 2022 and Rudi Völler of AS Roma for like a month in 2004. Völler still spoke Italian because I believe he married a Romanista fan (Sabrina Adducci) but not sure if Blessin did.

No way Jose goes to USA. He likes challenges, being in the spot-light, winning meaningful trophies and having drama with worthwhile opponents. The MLS would give him none of that. I don't think that he'll go for money over adversity when it comes down to it.
