Harvey Elliott is his closest friend in football. He could be tempted to play with him through Elliott could be the seniors come 2025.
He got too big for his boots when he joined Liverpool, thinking he was too good for the u21s wanted to be in the 1st team. He going to really need to kiss arse to get picked again for Portugal.
Taylor Twellman said on the broadcast that Noel Buck will be called up to an England U-18 camp soon. Pretty sweet #DualNationalPanic. Of course, the #NERevs can decline a call-up— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) June 1, 2023 His dad was born in either England or Wales according to this. http://americansoccernow.com/articl...ne-revolution-seeing-the-benefits-led-by-buck There is an under 18 camp next week but it would be a shock tos eve him involved.
This is the first time I've heard of this kid, worth having a look. I looked at his Instagram, and saw a recent picture with his old man. Clicked on his Dads profile, scrolled down and saw a picture which appeared to his kids in England kits from WC 2006.
If he's only getting a call up to an u18 camp is he even any good? Transfermarkt says he's an English dual anyway.
There are games involved. The U18’s are going to Portugal in the middle of June to play Norway and Portugal.
The players probably know by know as the first match is in 8 days time. I think there is also an Australia match as well.
Apparently he didn’t go to this training camp and hasn’t been called up to their senior set up. Some of their fans seemingly wanted him included. Out with tonsillitis apparently. Not sure how he would be integrated into our set up if he was willing to switch. Usually first opportunities at U21 level go to options already in our youth system.
Some of them are very much thinking he is doing a Rice/Grealish and preparing to switch back to England.
Noel Buck explains to @Sam_Minton22 how he feels about being left off the the U.S. roster for the U-20 World Cup.Buck then tells me that he’s leaving his options open in regards to international play. The 18-year-old has a UK passport. #NERevs pic.twitter.com/t9otj3cxZ3— Seth (@SethMan31) May 18, 2023
Apparently Spurs were looking at him recently. It will be interesting to see if he comes over to England this summer.
Will be interesting to see what this squad looks like. Very experimental looking at new options or a similar squad with just a couple of new caps.
For the Under 18 tournament- I can’t see them going too experimental because the other counties seem to be taking strong squads and suffering lots of heavy defeats wouldn’t be a good experience.
Yesterday England got knocked out of the U20 World Cup in the Round of 16. Daniel Jebbison was on that squad and didn't start a match in the tournament. Today he's on Canada's preliminary Gold Cup roster. It's reported that Herdman wants to send a younger squad, will he be on it? pic.twitter.com/8AGgOjVH5y— Josh Deming (@tv_jjd) June 1, 2023 Here is the #CanMNT preliminary roster for the upcoming 2023 Gold Cup!🇨🇦 pic.twitter.com/dEU4vpHW5c— Josh Deming (@tv_jjd) June 1, 2023 Daniel Jebbison looks like he is switching back to Canada - for their seniors. Possible he had already spoke to Canada while playing for England at the U20 World Cup which I doubt will go down well with the FA.
Lots of English eligible players on those lists. The big standout being Demarai Gray who's in Jamaica's prelim squad.
We could have 10 or more Ex English duals starting every week in the PL soon. Coupled with non eligible players taking homegrown spots still under 30% will become the norm and then how long till it is under 25%. Won’t Jebbison through have to apply to switch and the Gold Cup starts in 24 days time.
Well the Daily Mail are claiming Lewis Koumas (Wales youth international) has been asked to go and he’s another uncapped option.
I mean if they they going for a totally different squad to the last under 18 one in March which was presumably all the most highly rated players currently fit. A b list player is a player they don’t see as someone who would be chosen if it was full strength squad.
Jebbison was put into Canada’s preliminary squad for the Gold Cup last time and didn’t go. Looks like they want him to compete for their third CF spot with another Ex-England player Ike Ugbo.
I am not sure Sheffield United would be very happy at hime going to two major tournaments in two months. Plus he would have to formally switch before the squad deadline which is normally a few days before a tournament begins.
