does anyone here know why Llinas made his senior debut so late? seriously he was like 23 already when he finally started playing for the senior team, that is almost criminal to do to someone.

Millos with a great second half against Defensa y Justicia in Sudamericana. For me the best part was that Gamero didn’t look so naive after halftime as he usually does in difficult games. Maybe he learned something.

Agreed. In both games they played better in the second half and were able to concrete the chances they created, complete opposite of how they used to play.

The third game will be the real test, but I’m far more optimistic than a couple of weeks ago.

Peñarol is terrible. The game was delayed after the 60th minute because of heavy rain, but the score remained the same (3-1). If they can secure at least a point against America MG, they'll be through and possibly group winners.

I saw. one of those classic bogota storms, rains pretty much every single day over there.

ive never seen someone continue a game after waiting for an hour. Game ended at like 1 in the morning

Millos had another teen score last night.
They just keep rolling in the young potentials out don't they.

Does this Beckham David Castro kid have Cortes like potential or is it too soon to tell?

A little too soon, but since Cortes is leaving, Becks will have plenty of time to develop.

was Beckham that good or just very handsome and English so was insanely hyped. + he married a pop star.

I mean he was a good player but people make him out to be a Zidane, Ronaldo, Messi like talent.

For me he was good. Really good. Probably one of the beat touches I have ever seen in a player. The guy had a compass in His feet AND was very accurate (not just on free kicks).

He was Also hyped of course, but he deserved a lot of praise too. I remember a game with beckham playing against Real Madrid in Old Trafford. He was benched at the start by Sir Alex and RM was winning. He enters in the second half and Turned around the whole team. ManU Ends up winning the game.

I always enjoyed watching him play , and he was VERY professional.

Of course he was not a Messi/Ronaldo talent. But few people are.

Probably the best opinion on Becks:

“He can’t kick with his left foot, he can’t head, he can’t tackle, and he doesn’t score many goals. Apart from that, he’s alright.”

Scored a golazo against us in a World Cup so can't say anything bad about the guy.

In all honesty, I liked Beckham a a player, and he had a good understanding of the game, so good, that while his skill set was very limited, he was one of those players that shine because the things that he did, he did superbly. Off course being English and good looking and marrying another celebrity increased his fame way beyond of what his game deserved, but hey, that's how fame rolls.

I guess I always disliked him because Real Madrid picked him over Ronaldhino who was a way way better player
