Way better than Firmino tbh. Juve play archaic football. Vlahovic is a hard working target man with good potential. 7 in 15 games in half a season with Juve in 2021-22. 17 in 21 in first half of that season with Fiorentina. Also 21 league goals in 2020-21 season with Fiorentina.

 

Vlahovic on loan or for a reduced fee would be a good signing.

I will take Benz and Joselu as back up next season. Because Firmino as starting striker gets me depressed already.

 

I was reading a few hours back that the only other non-EPL side interested in Kane was/is Bayern. I doubt they'll go for him now.

 

Joselu, Fran, Brahim and David Soria are the first batch. Bellingham comes next. And if Benzema leaves as it seems, there will be a signing of a good international striker

Of course Perez is trying to convince Benz. Even doubling his contract will be magnitude cheaper vs buying a top tier striker this year.
As I wrote many times, Perez plan (of course I don't have any internal. Knowledge) was always to not invest this year (beside Jude) and finish the SB first.
Benz leaving has just changed all of the plans.

Nah. He'd be a dummy not to accept €400mil over 2 years with luxuries one can only dream of.

He gave this club his everything and not once caused problems over his wages. A true warrior and servant. Best of luck to him. He earned his payday.

Not his fault that the club's only plan for the forward line has been "Mbappe or Haaland might become available".

The only disgrace is our management of the entire striker/backup striker issue. We drained every ounce out of Benzema without even bothering to get a half-decent reinforcement for years.

The buck stops with Florentino. He gets all the the credit for Galactico signings so if he's having medicore signings as starters, blame should go there too. JAS and Juni are under Flo.

 

My #2 choice after Kane tbh but it's won't happen. His wages (I reckon) are pretty high and Pep won't let us have him and even if he does, it'll be for some astronomical sum.

Kane imo is a more realistic option.
