My first thought was "a USYNT roster with a Patrick Los from the Chicago Fire, that must be Damian Las' younger brother..."

neither Las or Los are typical Polish surnames. A lot of Polish in Chicago change the spelling of their name so it doesn’t have 8 consonants in a row :)

That is almost a possible ringing endorsement of the potential great talent of this U16 team.

That's Neil Pierre in the back. Already 6'5" or 6'6". Looks like Axel Perez has grown quite a bit as well.

Axel Perez is at least 5'7 and he is still young to grow.
Caden Glover is out with an injured.

Any remember the old Chicago Fire supporter's group made up of Eastern Euro's? They wore orange and were in the first few years. Wonder if their kids are now prospects.

right, looks like they sold the rights to the Japan games only to a paid service.

The US U-16s take the opener 2-1 over Japan. They looked relatively toothless until the 2nd half when Berchimas switched from RW to LW and started creating problems with his pace and dribbling, culminating in a combination resulting in Santi Morales finishing neatly in the box. Later on, substitute Petrie bundled in from close range after Japan failed to clear a corner. Japan’s consolation at the death was a rebound off a FK.

Overall not a super interesting game though the US defense looked pretty solid.

You know no one in that Japan team was going to push that 6'5 CB Neil Pierre special not in the U16.
Hopefully we can see and hear what players have done in the next few games.

If people are gonna watch these games, since it's apparently possible to watch them, should we try a PBP thread?

Berchimas the standout judging from the highlights.

I think it was just because of his size. Ball skills and finishing, weren't as good as our other players.

You'll be able to tell by positions and physical characteristics.
