Tommy didn’t get the PK he was entitled to, thereby preventing Philly from hosting the Cup final. Bribe money well spent.

Philly has a lower pay roll then us. What's there excuse? They have a good shot to make it back to the dance. Philly would have won the cup if they hosted, they should have won the cup in LA. LAFC isn't immortal.

I'd save your pennies, you will owe @don gagliardi a case of beer, right along with me at the end of the year.

And Chelsea, by far the biggest spending team in professional soccer this past year, just finished in 12th place in the Premier League.

Don't make me pull out those PPG vs. roster spending plots again :).

So how do you suppose LAFC did it? Smarts alone?

Data point of 1 has no meaning. Look at the data as a whole. Again, you want me to drag out the plots or not??

Given Seattle has the worst field in MLS, we should just be happy if we come away without an injury.

I think everyone’s seen enough of those. And then we get “but what about transfer fees, cheating, and academy spending!”

I think Don is slipping. He failed to invite him to attend at least 3 hours of the 12 hour Tailgate.

As a matter of fact, @Quakes05 has had a standing invitation to attend a game with me (or bring his wife) all season long (assuming tix not already spoken for.)

I previously hosted him for a game in 2019; it doesn't dissuade disagreement. :)

I haven't found anything other than the MLS injury report which is probably out of date but lists Akapo with a hamstring (and doesn't list Marie but I think he is almost surely out).

Here's a match preview with Jamon Moore and a Seattle guy.

Only thing really new I learned here is a question about whether Yueill has a knock he's been dealing with, and that Rusnak may not be available due to food poisoning. Sounds like Ruidíaz won't start but another guy in Morris's place and Ruidíaz off the bench. Nouhou will probably be back (boo-hoo), and Rowe might be available also.

I think there's a good chance our outside backs will be TT and Trauco. There's no one else left. Jamon said that Luchi hasn't committed either way on Mensah, which probably doesn't mean that they don't know, but that they don't want to say.
